I really enjoyed my stay at the Petro Palace Hotel and, to be honest, was impressed by the quality of the hotel (I would say, it's a 5+ hotel, not a four-star) and the staff's professionalism. We had a spacious deluxe room which was really marvellous and my friends who stayed in standard rooms also told me that they could not complain about anything. Everything was just perfect. nice room excellent staff very good value for money location location location.

At 2000Rubles per night its a steal. location. reception staff was really good and helpful. The location of hotel was incredible good you can see every historical places by walk its really close the main street. But in the lobby the cleanless was not enough they did not care the asthrays so they were always full.. and another thing is the breakfast and dinner was really expensive.. the other things was really good i suggest this hotel everyone. One of the best hotel in St.Petereburg. Just right the corner from Angleter and Astoris Hotels. Best price/quality rate. Excellent location - not at too busy Nevski Prospekt but very close to all the main sights - we did not really use public transport. The rooms were rather small (but who needs a huge room just for sleeping), but nice, clean, the hotel is newly renovated. Their souvenir shop accepts credit cards and has excellent choice and prices. That means my bank will give my money back in 30 days only! Very unpleasant as the rouble is loosing its value. Breakfast is a bit poor. The connecting rooms are noisy.Since early morning (around 8 AM) on check-out day all phones in the room started to ring once every hour. I believe it was a kind reminder on checking-out that I didn't really need. Although the facilities and position are excellent, everything apart from sleep in this hotel is counted as an extra and is extremely expensive.no water heater. Was very bad service in breakfast! Much too expensive, better to eatsomeplace outside for better price and better quality!. The beds were not very comfortable. The rooms are rather noisy. We could clearly hear the guest in the adjacent room. Cleanness of the rooms was fine, but could be improved.This hotel got 4* name obviously because os bribe. Otherwise I do not understand how this hotel can be considered as 4*. Maximum 3*. The rooms are tiny and dark, room service starts cleaning the room at 7.30-8.00 what I find absolutely ridiculous especially on weekends when guests are sleeping. Room service was very noisy disturbing hotel guests resting in the room.
