Ploshchad Vosstaniya Metro Station is just 10 metres away, and provides connections to all areas of the city and main attractions such as the Hermitage Museum, Russian Art Museum and Kazan Cathedral.

The location is ideal, just across from the Moscow Railway Station and at the start of Nevsky Prospekt. We had an interior room overlooking a quiet courtyard. Food service downstairs in the French themed restaurant is very inviting. The hotel provided all services that had been originally claimed. No unpleasant surprises. There is an elevator available which is rare in inexpensive St.-Petersburg hotels.

The main Oktyabrskaya hotel is very good. Saint-petersburg!!!!! In hotel we didn't like anything!!!!!. No air conditioning. In summer the heat will be unbearable on some days. Noise from the corridor. no breakfast included in the price, the cafe nearby is too expensive. poor breakfast. There was no noise insulation at all!!! I heard everything from the corridor and sometimes other rooms. And soup is not enough! I usually use shower gel. -------. Comfort. Cold in room. No wifi in a room. no elevator. noise outside the window. You have to pay another 100 Rubles for every 25 hours of Internet Wi-fi service. The hotel is decrepit, the fourniture is awful and uncomfortable. It's very noisy because of bad quality of windows. Very, very old and outworn: furniture, room, whole building. Dirty spots on floor anf walls. No conditioning system. Breakfast is too lean... The room is twice smaller than promised. The poorest furniture (do not believe photos). No air conditioner. No free wi-fi. No room service. No minibar. No even a tea pot. And they want the prepayment! 1,5 stars- not more! We left this hotel as quickly as possible!. old dirty house, rooms for cheap labor, dirty bathroom, poor furniture, not comfortable, poor Breakfast. We were accommodated in main building. It was the the worst accommodation in life. Small room which window was right under the ventilation. Noise was incredible. And it was impossible to shut window because there was not conditioner. Fortunately we stayed only one night in this hotel.
