This is my second visit to this hotel, location is good, it is near to underground station, breakfast and diner are good too. I can not say: Staff are so friendly and they do not know english, but staff of reception knows english and they are very frendly. Clean and good hotel. I can prefer that hotel for stay on the future. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, clean. Location is main advantage of the hotel, 20 minutes on foot or 2 metro stations to Red Square, lots of nice restaurants and clubs around, a theater and a concert hall. 15-minute walk to Belorussky train station for the express train to Sheremetyevo airport.
all reviews » Exellent location (place, metro), Building typically Moscow Stalin (the period of blossoming, 1949г.) architecture - very characteristic for Moscow. Very high ceilings, wide corridors. Lived in studio 38 sq.m - classics in good sense. Location, opposite underground which is 1 stop from Express train to Sheremetevo airport. Reception staff helpfull, breakfast buffet very good. Rooms large and reasonable, bit dated but so am I. :) Bath and shower, all clean and tidy. Location - its at the city center but not walking distance you can walk to Arbat its 1,5km and also red square its 2km. Clean Hotel. Security no one can just walk in to hotel if they are not hotel guest. It is a convenient situation and i suppose for Moscow reasonably priced. The room and bathroom were very clean and staff though not very friendly, were very helpful. Hotel is located in the heart of the City in walking distance to a lot of popular places. Staff is not friendly, price is a little bit high even for Moscow. Hotel hall, personnel & furniture in rooms is 100% soviet style. breakfast is quite basic. Very small lobby, every thing looks very old need renovation!. The studio room is too noisy all 24 hours dut to ongoing traffic on the boulevard. bed mattresse4s are old, and worn out. First room allocated was 319, and told this was a non-smoking room.. however, the room stank of cigarettes with stale air etc. room changed to 519, 2 single beds but was much better than previous. located on the really busy street, unbelievable noise from the street in the rooms during night, poor breakfast for the money. Noise from the road. security. Inside view Noisy Need in renovation. No hot water four three days, not being able to book food or drinks to our room (cash only) had to pay for entertainment. We were told that we would get a rebate on our bill, on checking out we asked for the rebate the staff on the desk all of a sudden could not understand English, as we had to leave for the airport we did not have time to argue the point. Moscow is a great City but would not recommend this hotel to any one considering the high cost. We have stayed in better three star hotels.
