Great service at check in. English speaking staff. The room was not very big, but very comfortable and clean, it seemed as if it was newly decorated. Very good value. Next time I am in Moscow I will use Arbat House again. Clean small room, helpful staff and rich breakfast at the BB cafe (if you're lucky you can get authentic Russian pancakes!). WiFi connection was reliable. There was a small minibar fridge in the room.
all reviews » Located in the city center but in a quiet street, breakfast is excellent, friendly staff. Not as expensive as other hotels in the city center of Moscow - good value for money. Not good view & when i told i want sleepers reception told me sleeper for lux room not for normal room. we stayed in a new room and smell of fresh paint was somehow disappointing. Reconstruction of the hotel, dirty windows, rubish from the roof was falling down all the time. Ran out of water on the weekend and were forced to buy expensive water from the restaurant. The rooms are very small and the hotel is undergoing an exterior renovation so it is noisy during the day. the bath wasn't clean at all. facilities, comfort. Maintenance work were disturbing. Our room was tiny and a little cold. The dated orange / yellow flocked wallpaper, decor and old faded bedding gave the impression that it hadn't been renovated since the 1970'S. £210 per night was very expensive in comparison to other international class hotels only 10 minutes walk away. everything else was bad, including the fact that letsbookhotel.com did not mention the renovation going on, that they did not clarify with the hotel my earlier departure and did not return my email in a proper manner, this combination leads to the decision not to use letsbookhotel.com anymore and book my 100+ hotel nights every year somewhere else!. Poor breakfast, old furniture, Russian tv channels only,. The hotel is under renovation and this was not mentioned. Got charged 1000 rubles more for exactly some room as my colleague , when I complained I was told he must be a luck man Floor we were on was being renovated so a lot of noise late in the evening Lift was broken Very expensive for small room.
