1.New building, close to center, easy access to the metr -3 min walking from hotel, and about 15 min from train station with train to Sheremetievo.( Just 2 stations from ours)2- luxury, well designed with a lot of natural stone and wood in interiors, 3-reach breakfast always with at least 4 hot dishes and soup, natural juices, good choice of tea, various types of coffe, cakes,cheeses and meat served in wonderful restaurant- we choosed comfortable red sofas every day,althought brea.
all reviews » The room was great. The hotel also has spa facilities and there was quite a variety for breakfast. There was also a choice of pillow, amde from different types of materials, if you were somehow dissatisfied with the comfort of your pillow. Complimentary bottled water for drinking was very much appreciated, and the mini bar was fully stocked. The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge, who spoke English quite well, which is a rarity. There's also a Matrewshka mini mart right around the. I gambled that this would be excellent value because it was a bit further out, but still within 20 mins walk of the Kremlin. It was a good choice. The hotel is classy without being grand. Well run and offering everything I needed. Breakfast was perfectly good, although not special. A 24 hour restaurant at reasonable (ie 18-22usd for a main) cost was a useful fallback that I never needed to use. It felt perfectly safe to walk back from the centre late at night. Great location: close to two subway stations, surrounded by various restaurants/shops/cafes, and only a 40min stroll to the Red Square and all the main historical attractions. The oasis in the busy centre of Moscow, just few mins from 2 main lines of metro, close to the historical centre. Staff is excellent. We got the room on the 4th floor (standard twin): best view for the location (nice birch tree hides the office building opposite to the hotel), very quiet (you will appreciate good sound isolation if you'll open the window), spacious. Despite its old-fashioned architecture, this is a new hotel with up-to- date facilities. It is reasonably well-located, being just five minutes' walk from the nearest Metro station - which in turn is not far from the city centre. Breakfast is good, and the spa is excellent. It offered everything I wanted and not too much more, so the only thing I could suggest to the hotel is to lower the price, which is very high by the standards of most other cities. Beds are too high: like for Princess on the Pea, and for my mother, who is small and 82 years old, was a bit difficult to climb to it. Breakfast coud be better: the same everyday, not like on the advertizing video on the site of the hotel. N/A. Some of the receptionists were less friendly, polite and efficient than they could be. Despite my best efforts, I could not cool my room down as much as I would have liked using the thermostat; but if I opened the window, the room quickly became too cold. The hotel is rather pricey for its category - though in fairness, hotels in Moscow are notoriously expensive. Price seems to be a bit expensive... No complaints. The truth - didn't go for breakfast so cann't evaluate it. No interesting room view, and only 2 TV stations in English (unfortunately i staid just 1 day, usually i don't watch TV). Very expensive if you book it for the full price... I got it with a big discount and it was definately worth it. Slow bar service Problem with condition at room ( it was 26 C and we failed to cool it) but it was reolved by opening window. Poor breakfast. Too hot in the room. Couldn't fix it. Had to completely switch off the heating system in my room and had to keep the window open. location was not good. Lobby service was not quickly. Breakfast could be bit better. Bath and shower need renovation. Breakfast. Some time the price, impossible to predict it!. The windows are locked. The shower has a very low pressure but nevertheless you flood the complete bathroom due to the construction of the bath tub and watershield... To be on the save side take flip-flops on your trip :-). Variety of breakfast could be improved a bit.
