What people say
Location. I hear that hotels are pretty expensive in that part of town,
so I appreciated the location for the price. It was good for a solo
traveler - I wouldn't book it if I came with my wife and son, but it
served my purpose of a cheap place to crash each night in the middle of
everything. Other reviews complained about the noise and the lack of
WiFi, but I didn't have any problems with either during my stay (may
have been the location of my room in the hotel). all reviews »
Very very close to metro station (direct metro from bus station from
airport) very very close to red square, balsoi theatre and the city
center for club people - there are 3 clubs downstairs - 2 with dj music
and one with live rock music we could sleep very well despite those
clubs (anyway the party there went on till at least 9 pm :)) helpful
staff and big bed and room.
Location couldn't have been better and consequently was value for money although you would normally expect a bigger room, better breakfast etc for the price.
The graffiti etc in the corridors added to the ambience of the hotel. Plenty of live music in the various bars and clubs in the same building.
the location is great, just right in the city center(compare to not so expensive price of the hotel), even though it's quite difficult to find at first arrival to Moscow. The receptions were fluently in English, and helpful.
Location great for Metro; Shops and Red Square. Clean rooms even if décor is different.
I liked the location for the hotel, which is close to most touristic attraction..
The location.
stile
wifi.
Location. The "hotel" (rooms) is in the same building as different pubs and DJ clubs, "sub-culture" theaters, etc. Appropriate for "non-convenient" persons.
I liked the location 10 minutes walk from Red sqwer.
excelent location..
Good location.
Location. Central location; .
Location near Bolshoi theatre and Kremlin.
Limited English from the staff, but that wasn't unusual in Moscow. I
had a fan but was still pretty hot at night in the summer (windowless
room). The website and confirmation mentioned free breakfast, but I
wasn't offered any and didn't see anything set up (may have been
a language barrier thing).
The room was very small and the breakfast not very edible. You could hear the music from the ground floor club all night and the following morning.
it was very very noisy and you can smelled cigarette during Friday and Saturday, all night through morning, but with ear plugs it was possible to sleep.
Wouldn't say it was a problem for us but you had to get in bed from the bottom.
Also not easy to find as no signs. Go up alleyway with Stakan sign above it and it is 2nd door on left with Lady Jane sign on door. Reception on 3rd floor.
since, the first and second floor for the building is club and cafe, there will be a lot of noise till early hours of morning (loud music).
Very noisey.
not so complicated breakfast
smal room
hard to find at the first time.
Room was somewhat trendy design (hipsters') but already worn out. Breakfast VERY modest.
This is not a hotel but few rooms with mornig breakfast service.
Very noisy!! 3 floors of discotek full volium of dancing music all night long. Poor breakfast. No Internet.difficult to find!!.
very small rooms.. not even the bags cant fit.. the noise cant be describe. two clubs and one other club open until 10 in the morning.. but still we loved it..
Rude personnel with bad english, dirty staircase and dirty rooms, tiny
dirty bathroom, no hot water most of the times, the breakfast offered is
a joke of bad cup of coffe and a piece of white toast with cheese, thats
it! Loud smelly music clubs in building so you can't sleep at night.
It's the worst place I ever stayed, only location is a plus.
Horrible room
very dirty
Smoke
Unfriendly staff. Bad and small breakfast; noisy night club downstairs; wrong telefon number in booking confirmation; very dark atmosphere (bad or dark lighting inside); not clean sanitary equipment, also I was asked for tips by hostess!.
Everything about the hotel.
