Our room was quite nice, the high ceiling creates a spacious atmosphere; large shared bathroom; bed OK. The lady who manages the house does not speak any English; she might sometimes impress to be a little rude, but in fact appears to be goodnatured and with a real sense of humour! Willing to store luggage for some time.

The hostel was so clean and cosy, the personel were friendly and
location ideal. The kitchen was clean and new too.
This hostel experience was quite quirky, actually it felt like the hotel manager herself had the hostel as her apartment, she was there all the time and kept an eye on everything, so you didn't really feel relaxed there. On the other hand, she could help you with everything you needed, if you managed to get it through in Russian. It was basically an apartment with a huge living room and a few bed rooms. Location was superb, close to the main pedestrian area, entrance from the inner yard.

Very hard to find - it's the far metal door behind the building,
with no sign!.
There were no signs on the building or anywhere that there is a hostel
located in this house...easy to find the building, impossible the hostel
itself. Also the rooms are facing a busy street, so it's quite noisy
and the room was very hot, because the heating was still on, even though
it was already spring. But all in all still a great hostel!.
It was very difficult to find. The taxi driver gave up and left me at
the street address. Eventually, I found a door at the back of the
building, though it was still unclear how to contact the hostel.
