  It is by far the best experience that I have in Romania, I can only say good things about them, friendly staff, very big and clean room (vila 8), a lot of activities, live music, good food, the scenery is fantastic.   In our way from Brasov to Bucharest, we decided to spend 1 day in Bran, looking for a quiet, traditional, beautiful pension. We found at Muntele Rece the perfect retreat, warm people, beautiful designs, quality food and wonderful scenery.   The hotel was very inviting with living areas with wood fireplaces at both ends for guests to relax and enjoy playing cards, watching tv, and hang out with friends. It was conveniently located near Bran Castle and the staff was very accomodating to our every request. They not only set up a shuttle for our large group from Brasov but also booked us... what people say » a private tour of the castle and packed us breakfast to go for our early train back. Of course our favorite staff member was Bernie, the St. Bernard, - The hotel is not in the center of town, so very quiet. The rooms are large and there are additional seating areas. The view from the balcony towards the castle is wonderful. We even got a late dinner cooked when we arrived from the airport after 22:00. Perfect service.

  I loved the design of the house, cleaningness was at the highest standard. The location is exceptional as is very close to the castle and in the middle of the restaurants and shops. However, it has a very nice and relaxing hidden yard which keeps you away from the normal agitation given by the location. I will be staying there again for sure!
