  The most wonderful welcome to an amazing city. The pension is right in the citadel and is the perfect start to see all the important sites. The hotel room felt warm, cosy and unique. We followed his advice and had dinner at Ferdinand's down the steps below the clock tower rather than in the old village itself where prices were a lot higher and geared to the tourist market.   A charming place run by a very kind lady who could not do more. It is in the old citadel and is extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was huge, very fresh, delicious and served in a courtyard filled with healthy potted colourful plants and a rose garden alongside. Such a lovely place to stay. - The rooms are all very modern and clean. We had a fairly large double room, with a comfortable bathroom. The house is right in the center of the citadel, just up the street from the central square. It was still very quiet though. The owner made a lovely breakfast for us each morning and often included nice little touches like a bowl of fresh strawberries. We very much enjoyed staying here.
