Hotel is right in the centre of Sibiu. Hotel is a little dated but still very nice, must of been fantastic in its heyday. Asked for room with fan and found portable air con set up in room fantastic... Breakfast was realy good as well... The whole experience was wonderful, beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast in the morning. Everywhere was clean and very very comfortable.

Comfortable and qui et room with jacuzzi bath :) Hotel is very well located, near the historic center of Sibiu. Spacious rooms and very large public areas and dining room. Impressive if slightly faded fin-de-siècle glamour. The friendly, efficient and considerate welcome in the middle of the night when just getting off of plane. Fantastic location just off the main square; loads of character and sense of history; friendly staff. My bed was comfortable and the room, though small, attractive and with everything I needed. Breakfast is served in a very grand restaurant and there's plenty of it, with good strong coffee (but watered down juice). Locates in Sibiu old-town, few steps from the main square, good shopping and eating possibilities around the hotel. Ample breakfast. The hotel has very big rooms, it's really vintage and the position is great. Free swiming pool and sauna acces. Swimming pool... did not look like anyone had used in months... very stale smell in pool room. The hotel does not have parking places !. Relatively weak Wi-Fi signal. I had to change rooms because of bad reception. Bathroom was a bit small and old fashioned. perhaps breakfast staff didn't know that some people get in late because they had a late night/early morning flight?. Wonderful hotel, the only thing I didn't like is the fact that the decorations and the furniture are a bit old and they look too used. Hotel was not renovated for a lot of time, and this is clearly visible. You should ask for a room, which is not pointing to the restaurant. We had a room with a windows above the restaurant, and suffered till 2 AM from the wedding music. No air conditioned, many parties so a lot of noise until late. A bit noisy during weekend because this hotel organise wedding. Extremely cold in the room!!!!!. I asked for a double bed and it was two separated bed. Very small bathroom. No parking place available. My room over-looked the central atrium area which is the roof of the restaurant. This slides back in hot weather and the noise below drifts up to the surrounding rooms. On the Saturday night a party went on till 2.30 am. When I complained I was offered another room to sleep in by the helpful receptionist but as this was stifling hot I chose not to move. I would stay here again but would ask for a room on the outside (there is no traffic as the road is pedestrianised). Difficult to reach by car. No wi-fi in rooms. Very old stuff, the spa center isn't good at all. Not so clean, staff not so helpful,.
