Wonderful hotel, highly recommended. Simple but bright and clean. Staff so helpful. really nice feel. Private off road parking. Decent restaurant. Short walk to the centre but cute buildings starting right behind the hotel. Ideal for visiting Sibiu. Good price. We had two double rooms for four of us but they also do a 1 bed apartment plus sofa bed which works out about the same price and like that you have a kitchen.
all reviews » The first thing that we enjoyed was that from our room we could see the old towers of the city center and had a nice rooftop view of the old area of Sibiu. The second and most important thing is that it is very close to the city center, abouta 10 minute walk at an easy pace. Also one of Sibiu's best restaurants near by its called Max and has a great atmosphere including live piano. The hotel and staff were exceptional. The hotel's restaurant was reasonably priced and served really good food. I'm gluten intolerant and they were exceptionally accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, with Internet in the room. I found it a really enjoyable stay, the staff (almost all) spoke English, they gave a complimentary map of the city. I have no complaints. Good room, pretty big and very clean. We used the laundry service which was good and fast. Also in our room Wifi did work, even though it is only advertised as working in communal spaces. Also location of hotel is great, just a 10 minutes walk to the historical center of town.Hotel was clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. It was a short walk from the hotel to the town centre but hotel staff provided a map and directions. Further one day we had to park outside the gate as the parking was full.Buffet breakfast cost was very high (6 euros) compared with going elsewhere and the cost of the room although there was good choice compared to other hotels we stayed in. DON´T have elevator. The staff was professional but not very friendly at first. It took us a while until they warmed up a bit. Not a big thing anyhow. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Not enough fruit at breakfast. A bit hard to find. When we arrived there was a bad smell in the room. But we opened the window for 5 minutes it disappeared. The gps don't take you to destination, but it is very simple using a map from Ibis or Ramada. . The rooms smelt of cigarette smoke, the shower head was old and leaked and the window in the bath room did not operate correctly. The wifi did not work in the room but did work in the reception area. No breakfast included. You have to pay 6 euro for it. Loud music was coming from the club whic is inside hotel. Bed was not good . Like everywhere in Romania no store on the windows so you must put a mask on your face in order to sleep. no beer on draft and A lack of private seating in communal areas. No tea or coffee making facilities. - terrible, broken bed. stairs till 3rd floor, no elevator. Smooking's room smells very bad. I've asked for letsbookhotel.com support and I never received from you... No air-con in the room, and an odd system of pre-booking breakfast the night before. Sibiu old town centre is 10 minutes walk away, so next time we shall use either the Ramada or the Continental Forum, which are much nearer and not much more expensive. There was a lot of noise in the rooms. When our friends in the next room turned on the shower i thought there is someone in our bathroom. Only some of the rooms had AC and only some of the rooms had balcony. It's about your luck. Beds are not comfortable at all. It's very hard to rest on them. It looked cheap, and so did the room. They didn't have a hairdryer, the cabin shower leaked on the floor. Worst of all, the walls were very thin and we could hear everything that was happening on the hallway and even when our neighbors were using their bathroom. The bathroom ventilation was also quite noisy. Our room was small and ugly, but we saw that other rooms were bigger and nicer. I don't know how you can book those. I was there at the beginning of December for one night. When I arrived, the room was a little cold. I alerted the staff and they turned on the heat but it still didn't heat up properly until the morning and also the bathroom radiator wasn't heated very well. There was a wedding and it was a bit noisy.
