Its a very good looking hotel, with modern design. Very clean and quiet room with a big double bed. The staff was polite and helpful although they speak Romanian with a local accent. The restaurant is also good, serving both Romanian and international dishes and the breakfast buffet was quite wide-ranged. The bathroom was very clean with a shower head that resembled a SciFi teleportation device and highly complicated faucets (good thing I'm an engineer).

Congrats for the 10+ mark. This is a very well designed spacious hotel in Romania's second largest city of Cluj-Napoca. The staff couldn't do enough for us and made our stay very enjoyable. The room was very comfortable with a large balcony and the restaurant next door had a great selection of great quality food. The value for money is really shown here with a 4 star hotel for less than 30.00 euros per night for 2 people including breakfast. Very comfortable rooms and impeccably clean. The staff was very professional and helpful. One of the speediest WiFi of any hotel I've been in. The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area. I was really suprise,everything is modern,nice and clean,receptionist speaks english very well (which is not obvious in romania) they keep very high standard compare to five star hotel. The rooms area great, big and comfortable. Good ventilation and heating system. Due to its remote location to the city centre, you must have / get a car if you want to visit Cluj. The "Cosmote" mobile phone network has awfully bad signal, I was able to initiate a decent phonecall only when going outside. However "Vodafone" and "Orange" networks work just fine. The hotel is out of the city in a part of town not very accessible by public transport. It can be a bit hard to find even with a gps. The coordinates available on letsbookhotel.com took us to a different hotel 2km away. Try too look for Tulip Inn - Sunny Hill signs when looking for it. The breakfast could be better, but you cannot expect more for 50 euro/2 nights. The road information to Hotel is not right. We arrived the entrane of the road to Hotel and found the information saying 1000m to Hotel, 900m and 800m to Hotel. next moment, the information was not. It took over 2Km from the first information(1000m). Breakfast quality is not for gourmets (no fresh juice, no 100% quality ham or bacon). But that's common for Romania, to be fair. :) Couldn't find the exact location for an hour. Should be more signs from both sides. :). Different position than the one advertised. Each evening the room key was not working and it had to be reprogrammed. There are broken things in hotel like broken door handles, broken switches and scratches on the walls. We had to swap many rooms because in each room there was something broken or missing. The drains off the showers where blocked! They should look a bit more into fixing problems with the rooms. The fact that they are not so near to A3 as they claim to be and they are far from the city centre... Difficult to find, especially in the dark. GPS was no help. I would strongly suggest to put more arrows to indicate the way. - weak wifi signal in room, cannot use on mobile devices, only on laptop - a little to far from the city. way to the hotel. -far from the city around 10km-so mandatory need a car or be prepared to spend money on taxi to go to the city;-booked only because offered free airport transfer-but in fact they call me after I booked that service not provided for free!!!, -poor budget breakfast (offered for free instead of transfer to airport). Wifi very weak in the middle building. Breakfast service beneath standard, coffee cold because thermos are not switched on, when we asked we were told these are broke, first we were asked to pay extra for hot coffee, got the momey back after complaining, toasters available but not connected so no toast, juice finished after five customers. 3 minute boiled eggs were ice cold....ordered food in the room on the menue said 31 lei all included, when food came had to pay 47 lei?. Poor and ridiculous breakfast. No coffee left, the bar was closed at 10 AM. On the terrace there where 40 people at a table, , no table left for others. Pathetic. . Go on with tour weddings and local gatherings. .I am not coming back there. . - Awful location (view on abandoned lands filled with garbage, stray dogs all around the hotel...) - The parking lot is not asphalted. Stray dogs and garbage all around. - Rude untrained staff. - The hotel is also renting a space for wedding and parties. It's impossible to sleep until 4 AM on weekends. Little choice for breakfast, very far from the main road, poor road and parking.
