A standard Ibis - does what it says on the box - clean, comfortable with good service and excellent value for money. Good location - 2 mins walk from the railway station. This hotel is located close to the train station and the subway station to go in the center of the city. Room are nice and very clean. Clean comfortable room with aircon/ heater. The wifi is also excellent. Breakfast not bad. The metro is just in front of the hotel.

The window cannot be opened...sometime stuffy. Location though near Gar de Nord is quite far from the happenings in the city. This time the breakfast had only limited options and there were only a few plateau's available. This was maybe due to not having so many customers in the hotel that morning, but I decided from now on to book without breakfast (9 Euro) because it's just not worth. Ventilation system was a bit loud (not ac, but all-day automatic ventilation). not possible to open window in the room. Just one towel in the room The smoking rooms smell too much (no windows). The area is a bit dodgy, but this is what you generally expect when you choose to stay next to the train station. "Late breakfast" option wasn't real. Food&beverage are expensive for a 3 stars hotel. No shower gel/shampoo. Nothing really. only one towel for two persons!!!!!. No facilities in room for making tea or coffee. Nothing to complain. Nothing. nothing!!!!!!!!. Cleaning lady never took garbage out .... Just changed towel and that it. zona restaurant \cam neprietenoasa. - Two night in a row they put up bar stools in front of the hotel's restaurant entrance so that people couldn't get in because allegedly the new cook couldn't handle more than a few orders at a time ... Very stupid situation on their behalf. Anyway, after complaining to the reception, they allowed some customers to get in and have a meal. no bath. that my booking whasn't recognised. I didn't like that you must pay for everything else ( parking, photocopy, printing etc.). As I said breakfast was OK but not for the price you pay for it. At the end of our trip we want to order the taxi to the bus stop, but the receptionist told us that we have i front of the hotel. Yes, there was a taxi but this taxi was much more expensive that the normal taxi in Bucharest. I think that as a guests of this hotel they have to provide us the best option. Standard, large, inpersonal Hotel. Expensive breakfast. Staff were a mixture of good and bad. Dated decor. A postage stamp would be bigger than the towels provided. Shower went from freezing to cold. Didn't acknowledge email about providing pick up from the airport until after we had left to go there. When they eventually did reply, they just referred us to another email address. There was a smell in the room, not bad but it's not what you're expecting when you check into a 3 star hotel. The password for the wireless internet connection had to be requested. They could provide the rooms with some slippers from when you come out of the shower. It was worn and functional rather than warm and welcoming. Hotel for one night, not more. I totaly dislike the fact that windows are fixed and there is no opportunity to bring fresh air in the room. There is no air condition, the device is just a fan that introduce hot air and make you boiling in the dry air. It wasn't nice to sleep in that smelly room. The cost of the parking, too expensive for one night (8 euro). There was no Wi-Fi in the room - only near the reception. Towels are not clean and fresh. No wifi in bedroom during my 3 day stay. Also ventilation is quite poor - room got very stuffy. The room was far, far too hot, even with the air conditioning on the lowest setting. It made it nearly impossible to sleep and it was impossible to open the window. Room we're not so clean they had cigarets smell because I make reservation non smoking room but they give ne smoking one. this is the second time i have stayed at the Ibis this month both times i have woken with a bad back this time i check under the matttress only to find that there is no bed bas just hardboard with a mattress on top also the amount of dirt and dust behind was shocking this has not been cleaned for some time. poor wifi signal breakfast too expensive but poor quality. Hotel Was Not Clean Enough, Staff Was Helpful however Not Welcoming, Extra Charge For EverY Move I Made, Which Made Me Feel Even Less Welcome. As above. Ugly. The room had no air.
