The location is amazing as you right in the old city center. There is a problem with the parking but once we found the hotel they offered us a parking spot at the back of the hotel which was very nice. The rooms were very nice, perfect for a short city trip. Staff was great!! The location - you cannot do better than this!! But the best of the best is their indian restaurant! Better than curry I had in UK!! You need to try it!.
all reviews » Good roof top accommodation. The restaurant was good, with friendly and efficient service. The curry was to uk vindaloo strength as I required, which was nice. The staff was pretty good and helpful. The room was very good (we stayed at the studio-apartment, with kitchen and bathroom), everything clean and in order. Excellent position in the downtown, very good value for the money, probably better in the summer when you don't need to keep worm. The staff was very very nice and the indian restaurant which belonged to the hotel offers great food and beer. Great location, friendly staff, simple but clean rooms, good food. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and in one of the rooms the bed was actually an extended couch which was very uncomfortable. You could hear everything that was going on on the hallway from the rooms. It was all great!!. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and helped us park the car, however the room was not ready and rather than tell us to leave the luggage and crack on with a walk around the city. They informed us continually it will be 5minutes, this went on for 1:30 hours. Also the vindaloo curry from the restaurant had lemon grass in it, which was a bit weird, nicely spicey though, so not bad overall. The bed they've chosen to put in the studio is ax extensible couch, therefore it has a 35% hardened surface, on top of which you can't feel at complete ease. Winter time, minus -10 degrees outside, rented 1 suite with 2 rooms, froze during the night as only one heater was working and only in the evening. The shower cabin was loose, the remote to the TV didn't work and you can't pay by credit card, only with cash. Breakfast is not include in room rate. No light in the room - so dark even in the morning! We have two double bed and only 2 covers =). No blanket in the room, but it was not a big deal since we could switch on the heating. No comfortable for 2 persons in the same rooom. Shower stall was not attached to wall and shook like crazy while you were in it. Beds are in a wooden frame that comes up almost level so that I kept banging my knees on it while in bed. Stairway is extremely dark. Site says they accept credit cards, but they do not. Window had no covering so could not keep out morning sunlight. Rooms: mattress was bad, very bad; Bathroom: no hot water, there was some problem on the boiler. They told us it would be fixed the next day and it wasn't; Wifi: very poor signal in the bedroom. I nearly broke my legs falling down the stairs because a small step at the top of the stairs was not marked. The staff were extremely unfriendly and completely uninterested in us. It took me about 10 minutes to find someone in the restaurant who would speak to me so that we could get the key for the room. The bathroom smelled like sewage and we were not provided with towels. This is the worst hotel that I stayed in in this price range in Romania. No hot shower. You might hit your head when you go to toilet because of designing of the room. Uncomfortable bed. No elevator. Staffs don't know how to treat guests. No trash bin in the room.
