We were like at home. You can feel warmth there, not only because the home is made of wood and equipped with floor heating, but first of all due to Dino, the owner. He, along with his wife, an artistic soul, who designed and decorated the house, created beautiful place on the outskirts of Brasov (however reached only in 10 minutes drive from the main railway station – “gare”). You can talk to them for hours. You can taste their homemade specialties for breakfast. They treat you with genuine hos.
all reviews » Our stay at this hotel was wonderful! The owner, Dinu and his wife Florence went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure we were comfortable. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean! The breakfast was delicious as well! We will definitely stay here every time we visit Brasov! It wasn't hard to find, Dinu texted us a day before our arrival to give us specific directions! It's also situated in a beautiful peaceful area of Brasov with a great view!. Dinu and Florence were some of the nicest hosts I have ever met. Their hospitality and friendliness are second to none. We were treated as if we were part of their family. The facilities were comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Dinu also went out of his way to provide us with some of his own liquor and wine. We will definitely go back again and we have already told our friends how wonderful this place is. I've been traveling a lot, but never encountered with such a lovely people! it actually felt as if we were a part of the family.. beside of that, the room is beautiful!! a balcony with a breath taking view to a lake and the woods. a diamond next to the big city. very quiet area (5 minutes ride to the center- its worth it!). The owners are very kind and helpful!! The location it's a bit remote from the center but it's gorgeous if you like to be in the middle of the nature! The interior design of the Lobby and Living room it's so artistic with beautiful decorations. We've got a welcome tea and pies! So great! Excellent price/quality ratio!. -Large sized rooms with a comfy bed. -Very welcoming and hospitable hosts - Dino and his wife were lovely!! -We had dinner there - it was amazing!! Dino even cooked Onion soup for the first time for other guests which we got to try - it was the best we have ever had!!!. One of the best places around, awesome in every way, with attention to details. Rooms are very clean and large, equipped with every thing you may need. The hosts are very nice, friendly and communicative. Definitely a place to stay when we'll go to Brasov again. Very nice owner's, Dinu and Florence. I would recommend it to everybody and although not in the center of Brasov it is not a big problem, the taxi is cheap and the view to the forest and the lake from the balcony is wonderful. We only stayed two nights!. absolutely nothing. 1.we've stay only 1 night :-(. 2.The road to the house it's a little 'complicated' but it's not their fault as of local authority. Only negative - address is misleading. The road to the premises is not yet finished - this road does a loop around through bushland. We ended up parking at the beginning of the road and calling the owner who drove down so we could follow him to the premises. We drove through a separate street which is not listed as the address to get to the place. Very misleading - zero sign-age, however Dino definitely made up for it with his hospitality and dinner!! Must have a car to get to the property!!. The citycentre is not in walking distance of this hotel. But if you have a car there is nog problem. Sewage smell in bathroom, Small TV. Almost impossible to find even with a gps. You must phone for directions.
