This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It was so clean and homey and had everything you could want. There was a skylight in my room and I could see the moon from my bed. All the people that worked there were the best. It was very tastefully decorated, the breakfast was home cooked. I took the No. 23 bus from the train station (it is on the main road outside the station) and got off at the 5th stop. From there it was a 4 to 5 minute walk. You have to buy the bus ticket at a booth in.
all reviews » Great home in a great location!! This was a family trip for myself, my husband, my son, my mom and my cousin. The hosts were very kind, they waited for us at the property. They respectively spoke English, Italian and Romanian with us .... depending on our native language - to each, its own!! :-) The property is sparkling clean! Very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and served just for us in the kitchen. We occupied all the properties, 3 different rooms, and we were happy. We only stayed. It's an authentic experience in a remodeled home in a typical Transylvania setting. The lodging is more like a home away from home as every effort is made to make the guests feel welcome. The hosts also offer private tours of nearby castles. The home is also very clean. The couple that runs this little inn were so friendly and accommodating. They provided a delicious breakfast each morning and were eager to please. This location is a 20 minute walk from the center but found it easy access to move around. Casa Vacanza was great! The property was extremely well designed and clean. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. Friendly and very helpful staff. Everything was perfect. Nothing. All great. The location was not exactly ideal, it was a little bit far out of the city center (20-30 minutes walking). My room looked out directly on the main street, which gets rather busy early in the morning and also in the evening. The room was therefore a bit too noisy for me even with the windows shut tight. The location is a bit far from city center. 30 minutes walking but it's ok. Quite a walk into the center. nothing. There is no reception, so you have to call before you arrive. They don't have their own parking lot but you can park in front of the property. Because i stayed in a room that had the window at a main road it was a little noisy. They have to change the windows with new technology windows.
