- very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff - good location; very close to the airport; not far from the city hotspots; yet free from the horrendous doha traffic ( that's due to a lot of constructions going on though) - the hotel has a very good lobby lounge where you can have a chat or dine with your guests while you are entertained by a musician playing the piano - the valet and security personnel were very helpful every time when I had to get stuff in and out of my car.

And the hotel is very close to the airport (although the poor road planning from the airport makes the journey last longer than it should do. Hotel gym equipment is in good condition. Rooms are quiet. Everything: Design, room, bathroom, space for kids with bouncing castle, food for kids for free, movies for free for kids, slide, personal taking care of the kids. Beautiful design was a pleasure to look at any place. This hotel was a great choice for an overnight stay between flights in Doha. Very close to the airport, easy to use shuttle, friendly staff, multiple restaurant options, great value for money. room was excellent. The tapas was over priced and very 'fried' for a supposedly top quality tapas bar The chineese restaurant was excellent, but very very expensive. The location, whilst handy for the airport is very noisy and surrounded by a building yard and semi industrial units. All suites face the runway and are very noisy so I had to be moved to a regular room which was much quiter though no refund was given for the downgrade. Check out was sloppy and I was undercharged and charged for balance next day. nothing. A peculiar smell in the rooms either from the carpet or paint. Non a single point. WIFI should be free. They charge too much for wifi and for breakfast. high price of food and drink in the hotel. Unusually for 5 star hotel, Wifi is extra and very expensive. Nearly impossible for a first-time traveller to Doha to figure out how to get out of the airport for one night at the hotel. Would be good to include this info.
