I read a lot of drawback or comments that doesn’t recommend Coral Doha at letsbookhotel.com. When I went there, I wasn’t surprised. I found everything perfect as I expect coral hotels as I have experience with Coral Dubai! I've occupied a junior suite. I found everything is comfortable: the place is very cleaned, the smile is very healthy, the food (breakfast) is very delicious & the staff are too helpful & handsome starting from the car parking driver, reception, reception manager &am.
all reviews » A pleasant place, pleasant staff.... more than meets the eye. Lets begin from the check in: it was fast & straight forward. We got a complimentary fruit cocktail and a surprising room upgrade. The room was pretty large, comfy, very quiet and private. It had a superb view of the sea and city skyline. The free WiFi was fast, I never had any problem surfing and the bathroom was also large and very clean. Our 4 day stay was pleasant, no problem with the underground parking (a bit narrow but. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The reservation manager Ms. Mary Ann Tan is not only friendly, she is very efficient, reliable and well organized. She manage to process my visa in a very short period of time. Mr. Mohammed from front desk assisted me upon my arrival at the hotel, he is very pleasant, cheerful and he assured me that they are available at the front desk whenever i need an assistance. Mr. Francis is also very helpful and friendly during my stay. Ms. Mayada from gues. 1. Outstanding service by Guest Relations Manager, Ms Mayada Farouk. Few minutes walk form the excellent Museum for Islamic Art. Karwa taxis easy to get close to the hotel. The hotel is just behind the main road and so most of the main road traffic noise is cut out. The main business district (West Ba. Exemplary service. I requested for a city view but wasn't available that time however they upgraded us to junior suite instead. How great is that for the price we paid. We were well taken cared of by the staffs and we the room was very comfortable. It is in the heart of most tourist attractions in doha. So you don't have to spend much for cabs. Their food is very sumptuous and not to mention very affordable. I recommend this place specially to family cuz their room is very spacious, clean and c. I should say something concerning guest reception where a young beautiful lady called Mayada, she is always available and with a high quality reception and freindly and all what she is concerned abo. I was very pleased by everything. When I booked I did not know what to expect and was very worried. But when I arrived I was very surprised by the way people tried to make things easy and pleasant. I was upgraded which was very unexpected. The place is convenient and quiet. Personnel was smiling and made you feel at home. I was even offered the breakfast although it was not included. In the end I was offered a big perk. But I will not tell you which - you should to go there too and may be you w. The location was good, just in a short walking distance to the Museum of Islamic Arts and also to the Souq Waqif. The Suite (deluxe) was great. Lot of clean and proper space for the family. There were enough parking under the hotel specially for small cars. The internet speed was good. The room had almost everything we needed. The front office stuff were very friendly, special thanks to Mr. Ehab Zaki- Front Office Manager. I can give A full mark to this hotel starting from the professional recieption staff , communication , and following up , and they asked my feedback which means that they care , actually I have added this hotel to my favorite list , many thanx to mr. ehab and mayada because they desierve it for there effort to give all help needed. The staff was extremelly helpfull and nice. I got an upgraded to a bigger room than inicially booked. The spa treatment was good and the lady was very carefull (although one hour late on booked schedule) Great ratio quality price. Staff and Management very keen in acheaving customer satisfaction. The hospitality shown by ALL the staff (whether bellman, concierge, front desk, room service,,,) from arrival to departure was first rate. Pleasant, efficient, accommodating and generous. Thank you Coral Hotel Doha!. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us as western visitors to Doha. Yet the hotel still had the authentic feel of the Middle East. The location was perfect for a walking tour. I liked their staff who so professional and friendly, the bath room are so clean, the room is spacious and the facilty is hightech, the hotel provides free internet I the lobby. The replacement was not there in the bathroom, but housekeeping delivered one in 5 minutes. you will never find an answer for this question in Coral Hotel. I have no pretention whatsoever. The Wlan connection in the rooms/ suits was slow. The internet (Wlan) access in the lobby was pretty fine, but sometimes it was difficult to find a vacant sitting opportunity. Furthermore the reception was especially during the rush time crowded, so that you have to calculate waiting time. -Wind and Airplane noise. -Sometimes I couldn't connect to the wifi. -Elevators sometimes went busy. The staff is too positive and unfortunatly issues are not taking care of as quickly as informed. Dispite great variaty for breakfast, as i am nor a coffee or tea drinker, I missed a nice hot chocolate. I had an hard time getting a hair dryer, booking schedule for spa treatment was not respected and no previous information was given to me. After complaining, Mr. Amgad Behawy, offered i refound for the treatement in compensation. - The swimming pool is really small (not possible to swim)and is not always accessible (shifts for men, women and families). But the view from the pool terrace is wonderful, especially at night... I hated the fact that smoking is allowed in the ground floor lounge. It' so strange why it is allowed in this closed area. I wanted to use the WiFi but because of so many people smoking in the lounge, I couldn't stay more than a few minutes. The keycard to room had problems but was fixed within 20 minutes while I waited. Sad the pool was only inside, not outside with such great weather year around. Underground parking was limited and too congested for a big size SUV..there is also limited parking outside.. No shower gel (however plenty of soap, shampoo and moisturizer). Some loud noises from outside, very early in the morning, before sunrise (maybe prayer calls from a mosque?). They need to use newer towels They need to use better calling desk phone They need to have payable internet connection in the rooms for business people and families as people like to stay connected in their free zone. Whilst it was not a problem for me, it is next door to a mosque, so chose your room if you do not want an early alarm call. The AC was not very intuitive so I had to call the service. Minor issue. Bedlinen and towels were very clean, but the room was in real need of a good spring cleaning, especially the bathroom. Nothing. First of all, the score is not realistic at all. if this hotel which is 4 star hotel rates "Superb 9.0" what will other new 5 star hotels will get!! what I didn't like about the hotel is: 1- the bed was noise and generally the furniture was kinda old and some of them were dirty. will I stay in this hotel again? No there are much better places to stay with same price. - Breakfast not included in room basic charge. - Expensive car service. nothing. Only wired internet - working OK, wire was provided in room. Mosque very close to hotel - wakes you up in the middle of the night. It is very hard to park the car in the underground parking. No thing really. No wall clock. The breakfast spread was poor and the same breakfast repeated on all days with not a single change. You get more than you pay for in Doha standards. I really can't complain. food options are limited and no bars. Food be bad,tasteless. The room was clean but it can be made cleaner. Nothing.
