I really like the location of this hotel, Its literally in the airport! Very convenient for our family. Traveling with my husband and 3 young kids. [9, 5, 3 yr old] our plane got in at 12 midnight and we were heading to Sabana Grande/Ponce area about 2 hrs away from San Juan Airport. We did not want to drive right aftet we got in. Every one was tired and needed to rest. The stay was very courteous and helpful, it took us 5 minutes to check in and then we settled on our room. Checkout was at 12 .
all reviews » Rt at the airport clean had a better view of the ocean were some hotels charge a premium for a partial view and call it a ocean view and you have to hang your head over the window to see it think their missing out on this one it was a very nice view from our room even if their was some roof tops in line with the view over all it was as 1 night stay food on site rest was a little price but good didnt have to go out searching for a rest which saved us time pick up for rental car was rt at the cur. since my most recent previous stay, about a year ago, there seem to have been small but significant efforts to improve the guest's experience in this airport hotel: bed more comfortable, everything a little cleaner, better breakfast choices, very good internet, more friendly staff. It is still fundamentally a basic, convenience-driven, overnight choice. But small improvements are appreciated. Located right at the airport. We arrived late to San Juan and were able to to right to bed! The bed was comfy. They had a continental breakfast in the morning and we picked up a shuttle to our car rental place right outside the hotel. Even tho we were staying at an airport, all was quiet. The one and only reason for staying at this hotel is that it is located in the airport terminal - not "near" the airport. No shuttle bus required. We stayed there because we had an early flight the next morning. The convenience is priceless!!!!!. That it was right there at the airport to serve weary travelers as they sleep over and then catch the next flight. Lots of hot water. Beds comfy, sheets clean and crisp. Asked for an extra blanket and it was brought to us within moments. It was very convenient. We arrived late in the evening so it was nice to just walk out of the terminal and into our room and rest for the evening. There was also a breakfast that was included, so it was 1 less thing to worry about. The hotel is located at terminal d of the airport, which was a welcome sight for travel-weary senior citizens. No need to take a taxi to another location, just to turn around and come back for the next day's travel connection. Incredibly convenient. I have never seen a hotel in an airport before. Perfect for our 5:30 am airline departure. Very small but otherwise clean and well organized. It had everything we needed. The convenience of using it both coming an going. We arrived in San Juan on a late flight and are leaving early in the morning. It was nice to walk out our hotel room right to the check in counter. The room was clean, cool and spacious (I had a double queen room) Breakfast offered many options. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms are private and clean. Location is great for overnight connection. The convenience for me getting in after 1 am to get out next morning. The breakfast was really appreciated. I encountered just two staff members both concerned for my comfort and willing to help. I love that the hotel is right at the airport, has really nice breakfasts included and has the nice restaurant on the second floor as well. I stay in this hotel every time I travel to Dominica. Convenience Free breakfast was OK ... It offered pretty standard fare for budget hotels now days, but your attendant did an excellent job of keeping things very clean and freshly stocked. Inside the airport, outdoor spa with two jacuzzis, restuarants next door and inside the hotel and the personnel working there were the friendliest we met during our entire two week visit. The staff was so friendly and that we could check our bags in before we could check in, and the room was spotless, and i loved that the rooms had IHomes for the clock/radio's. Your signage was good. Everything was well marked (with arrows). Your survey sheet even listed the amenities and stated 24/7 if it applied. I also liked the internet room. Wonderful location staff was wonderful. Executive change required Carpets like to feel my feet are the cleanest at the door. I did not feel this. Carpets set the tone. The best choice if you are departing early or arriving late to PR. Beside this reason, there's no other reason to stay at this hotel since there's nothing to do... The room was immaculately clean and well organized. Check-in and out was easy and staff was friendly. Breakfast was OK but a nice large room and all very clean. This hotel is slowly being improved and is much better than two years ago. Still a way to go but for where it is it's great. The thermostat in our room was not working correctly. It was stuck at 18 degrees c, which was a bit cool for us. The fan from the unit also blew right on our heads, so we had to sleep head under cover. Complementary breakfast is very spartan and offers only instant coffee. There is, however, a coffee machine in the room with real coffee pods, so if you are a coffee addict, make sure you make yourself a cup before going to breakfast!. That we could not get a roll-away bed. The room was tiny you opened the door and the bed was right there. But we were only booked for the 1 night so it was perfect for us. While the hotel is built into the airport, the signage pointing to the hotel from the baggage claim is hard to see. Also, the airport elevator didn't work so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up 40 feet of concrete stairs (not easy for us infirm oldies). Bed a little hard. Hard beds and overly stuffed large pillows were a mild annoyance. But these were minor annoyances. Our room was small but well furnished and very clean and quiet. Not really a matter of didn't like but had to lug my baggage and got lost finding the hotel. Clear prominent signs in terminals would help. I got lost before before someone who came by showed me a sign. The hotel is a little run down, but that does not really matter to me. There was some noise in the room next door, but it quieted down when I needed to sleep. The restaurant is pretty minimal, and eating options in the air terminal are almost nil after about 6:00pm. The room was bland and the bed was springy. Great place to crash for a night but if you have time pay the extra money and stay by the beach one last day.. The room was small for the price we paid, so i do wish it was a little cheaper, but nothing that would stop me from staying again. I also wish that inside the coffee condiment packages, there would be 2 packages of the creamer instead of one, or putting 4 condiment packages instead of two :). I did not like the price of drinks in the bistro lounge. The room was a bit on the small size but OK for one night. Nothing was bad. See below. What/where is Carolina?. I think price is a bit high and breakfast could be a little more hearty. The place needs some maintenance (carpets especially), but I was so tired I appreciated everything else. The temperature in the room was extremely cold, and turning off the air, only partially solved the problem. Lack of food choices on the premises. Phone did not work, we did not get our wake-up call. 1) Sunlight came into room under the drapes in the morning. 2) We waited an hour after they said they were going to open our safe, but no one came. nothing. If you're looking for a good nights sleep...well, the window treatment design is so poor that city lights and am sun make it very difficult. The hottub close's at 6pm. Whats up with that. The location in the terminal was hard to find late at night from the opposite end of the airport - no signs until we got closer. Rooms are very small. Longish checkin time. Asked staff about tsa wait times and got incorrect answer. You must allow about an hour just for tsa screening, much longer if you need to check bags. San Juan Airport seem to be a total nightmare for checking in/TSA screening. But having this airport hotel really saved the day. I wouldn't stay here more than one night or for vacation purposes. I mean, you are at the airport! It is perfect for its intended use--to stay the night before an early flight. Clean and comfortable, but no real amenities (fitness room was practically a closet). Computer system shut down in checking in so took an hour to check in. Too cold! Could not turn down the airconditioner. Wanted a late checkout but was told the airport was entirely booked, which I'm sure it wasn'T. Breakfast not too appealing. The rooms are too cold and the A/C is pointed straight at the bed. The safe in the room did not work. Curtains weren't long enough and headboard was below window , which made for an early morning! Had to take suitcases down some stairs because the conveyor belt was broken. The hotel could use a little bathroom updating--the bathtub had a mushy floor. No where to eat.
