The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Two restaurants on site were convenient. Scenic views and several pools plus a mini golf and playground area make it kid and family friendly. Hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens on a hillside Good leisure facilities (pools, gym, etc) Very spacious rooms Helpful staff 2 good restaurants. Location and View, It was Like new, Well laid out, Large Rooms, Clean, Multiple pools, Work out room..I Think membership is required.
all reviews » We only stayed one night, and arrived late, but it was great. Would have liked to have more time to enjoy it all. Almost everything; did enjoy the swimming pool very much. Location : Just next to the ferry. The pools and garden. Pool, food, service. Location and staff. Friendly reception. Accommodations were comfortable but not luxurious. The pool areas are nice and the grounds are interesting. It is close to the Culebra/Vieques ferry, which is why I chose it. Friendly atmosphere with guests & owners. It felt like being at home!. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable; there was only 1 pillow provided per person. The many stairs on the property made it difficult for someone with a disability-even though there were ramps and one old and slow elevator. Vicious mosquitos in lobby Would be difficult to get to without a car. Make sure you request a balcony room ! It cost me an additional $11.00 per night. Without it you won't have a view from your room. The towel thing for the pool is a hassel... On the day we checked out, the pool was only available till 2pm and we were going to be in the area till much later, so we weren't able to enjoy it. The meal ordered to the room. staff misinformed about how early we needed to leave to catch the ferry. Had to go back home.... Room could have had a more modern TV, a hair dryer, and clock. Only some employees in the restaurant insist on assigned seating. When there is plenty of room it should be open , european style. The restaurant was average, and the hotel is not close to other restaurants and attractions, so a car is needed. Some parts of the property are starting to show some age. It would be nice if the room had small fridge and coffee maker. Rooms need fans & lamps to be cleaned, bed way too low (ok for someone young but not a senior couple with bad backs). Love animals but way too many. No hot water to wash dishes or clorox wipes to clean counter or new sponge to wash dishes (not sanitary). Need tv or radio in rooms. We had to constantly ask for towels. Parking was tight and hard to find at times. Trash was not emptied. Wifi was none existent are extremely weak. Phone was not working during entire trip, maintenance was called only showed up once... Beds weren't comfortable, towel service was poor, inside shower curtain was molding. deteriorating conditions. Pool dirty around the rim. Only one set of towels, they had to wash towels and then return the towels to the room. Curtains torn, bed cover torn. T.V. was more like a motel t.v. very old fashioned and small (I wouldn't even buy for my home!). This used to be a nice hotel, not any more!. Clueless staff, missing towels, wakeup call not completed, coffee maker but no complimentary cofee. First disappointing booking on Bookings.com. During our stay the hotel was more than half empty; our room was ready, but the staff insists that check in must not be earlier than the appointed time (16.00.00). Room amenities were incomplete. There were dead wasps in the pool (filter was not working properly / not working at all). bed uncomfortable, need to upgrade bed linens.
