Our room was big and nice with a great view from the 16th floor. Everything was clean, towels, teas and coffees in the room provided. Great value for money! They only provide liquid soap (no shampoos), but that soap is great quality - I washed my hair with that soap, did not use any conditioner and my hair was absolutely fine!(bear in mind I have very long hair). Clean, modern and well equipped apartment just a 15 minute walk into the old town or a minute on the bus. Plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities nearby and close to some of Warsaw's top tourist attraction. Our apartment actually looked onto fragments of the ghetto wall. Staff were courteous and friendly throughout.
all reviews » Clean place, well equipped kitchen, underground parking, kind stuff, nice beds, flat TV with HDMI interface - I was able to plug my laptop and show cartoons to children in the evening, location in the center of the city not far from most of Warsaw attractions like Lazienki park, old town, Saxon park, Museums, etc. I've stayed at Platinum residence several times and I have always loved it here. the staff are very friendly and speak perfect English. :) The rooms are squeaky clean and it's within walking distance to lots of places. I will always recommend Platinum residence to anyone. Spacious, clean apartment, close to public transit. We had 2 bedrooms, one with a single bed & desk, the second with a double bed. There is a small shop & pizza restaurant just outside front door. And also a very nice Polish restaurant nearby. Had everything that we needed and more. Had no problems checking in/checking out. No hairdryer in the rooms when we arrived, but one was provided almost immediately. Will book again, next time we holiday in Warsaw. The view from our room was amazing, we even had our own balcony which was in room 1610. the location was pretty good too, the bus from apt to centrum runs every 10 mins. Everything - apartment is very central (around corner from warsaw uprising museum) modern, clean, large, great value, well equipped kitchen with supermarket downstairs. Also their apartments are quite good (unlike the basic double room). Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. nothing. The bed in general is huge and comfortable, but for both of us the pillows were waaay too big for a comfortable sleep. The second night I used the small pillow which is there more for the looks rather than sleeping, was a bit better. Nothing!. Lack of microwave owen in the kitchen. Other from that everything was perfect. The internet suddenly is not free anymore. Neither are the Swimming pool and Gym facilities. I guess a lot has changed since the last time I was there. Some maintenance problems. Lights were out at the end of the hallway & we could not see without a flashlight. Blind in the bedroom was missing. There was a washing machine (great) but no instructions so it was a bit difficult to operate. Parking was quoted at 49 zloty a night & we booked in advance. But when we got there they had no space. So we parked up the street for 15 zloty a night (when facing front door of Platinum the parking entrance is 20 metres to left). Nothing to dislike whatsoever. Sound proofing wasn't that good, we could hear ppl talking in their room. The path to our apt was a bit complicated, you need to walk to another building from the reception. nothing. Not there fault but water pipe broke and we had no water at all in building on last day , thank god we were leaving. Poor signaling to enter the building and get to the right door, out of reception opening time. No fridge in the room, as there are no catering facilities it is needed. A little bit noisy. Far from city center. there is one pillar right beside the bed. There is no refregerator. Tv didn't work. Guests are disallowed to open windows (it's closed by a key), so there is no way to have some fresh air (conditioner only makes it colder, but not add new) And the main problem, absolutly no soundproofing. You will hear all that happening at hall and nearby rooms. Cooking facilities..basically extracter fan missing and all the smoke/smell of what you are cooking remains in the room. Bus or taxi is needed to go to the old town or busy streets. 3 to 4 euros (up to 16 zw) was usually enough by taxi:). Sound isolation Not easy to find entrance at night. No kitchen. Basic double room is too small and unpractical - I had to move the furniture to be able to place my laptop on the desk and sit properly. And the price for that room was the same I was previously paying for the studio which is much, much more comfortable. Wifi did not work (on my computer) had to go to neighbouring restaurants... Not good choice, if your check in is after 22.00 and check out before 7.00. Extremely hard to find entrance during the night. I had a lot of problems. I didn't like the fact that I didn't have hot water and from 16 floor I had to go down on reception to tell. And thee room was to small, just one small window and 4 white walls with no single painting on it. it was offered as "apartment" ,in reality it is 14 sq meter room on last floor of buliding, lift doesnt go there , you need to use steep stair, not for old people and disabled, very tiny "claustrophobic".
