we stayed for three nights as we were going to a wedding near Lodz. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean. There is a nice bar and reception area too.The location is excellent,.right on the main street. Fantastic location. Solid and long-established. Very comfortable rooms... and bed. Excellent restaurant, generous breakfasts. We liked everything about the Grand.

My small couch-bed was not comfortable, but good enough. Very noisy outside, but not the fault of the hotel. the water from tap in the bathroom was too slow... Not the friendliest looking stuff at the front desk. Beds were ok, but just ok . One of the rooms that I stayed at had quite an uncomfortable bed - lets face it, they haven't been updated for some time now. I wish they had tea and coffee + kettle facility in the room. the room was on the street side and was extremely noisy all night i didn;t get any sleep. Hotel is very run down, old and neglected facilities, rooms were to 2 star standard - prices 4 stars. Actually I have stayed in better 2 star hotels than this 3 stars. Wifi very slow - I couldn't do face-time with family. Creepy corridors, very low standard rooms. Too dirty... Too noisy... - staff booked us in a wrong room (lower standard to what we paiud for) - had to argue for my own rights; - cleaness was not there - we stayed at this hotrel for 3 days and the room hasn't been cleaned properly none of those days; - bathroom did stink horribly; hotel needs good renovation;.
