Opened in summer 2007, this residence is a boutique-style historic house centrally situated right in the heart of Krakow's old town, around the corner from the famous main market square.

Our 16th century residence boasts a historic heritage as Krakow's first public bathhouse. This ancient atmosphere will provide you with the perfect base from which to explore the city’s culture, arts and history. We offer an ideal location at the centre of all the main tourist attractions; every hour you can hear from your room the famous bugle call from the Mariacki Basilica's tower.

The colourfully decorated, comfortable and contemporary accommodation features a warm ambience, elegant furnishings and modern conveniences. The interior has maintained the period features including stone walls and a stunning wooden staircase. We would definitely use Tango House again. staff were suberb - friendly and amenable. made an effort to help where they could and even made a packed lunch for our trip home!. location was wonderful, little gem of a B and B. We loved that it was sooo close to the square. located central. Nichts - nix - nothing. I did not feel the description mentioned the amount of stairs to the top floor. This could be problematic for visitors with mobility problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there despite this.Only stairs to get to rooms which was bit difficult with luggage. As it was hot we had ro sleep with the windows open . Unfortunatelythe hotel is opposite a nightclub/bar which resulted in considerableroad noise until past 3:00am . THis would limit my recommendation ofthis excellent boutique hotel to colder times or rooms at the backof the hotel. Stayed 3 nights - could have done with laundary change after 2. Front roms were noisy. The only things we did not like were the lack of tea and coffee making in room ( a very easy way to improve ) and my wife said there was no socket near the mirror in room (not bathroom) found it difficult to dry hair. Having said that these are very minor and did not spoil our stay. old plumbing was quite noisy. There was no elevator, and it was crazy hauling everything up with two children. Plus, the stairwell was super spooky-poor lighting and just plain scary looking!. very much noise in the surroundings not enough places for breakfast.
