This hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the market square of the old town and across the road from the castle. It is a modern, clean and extremely comfortable hotel. The staff are polite, pleasant and accommodating. Although we never ate in the hotel (except for breakfast) the menu looks quite exciting albeit quite limited on choice (this sometimes can be a good thing though). There are 2 restaurants one on the tol floor with a bar, which gives you amazing views of the river and castl.

Thank you booking,com and hotel Kossak. We booked superior rooms with views over the Vista river and the Wawel Castle - absolutely excellent and probably the best rooms in the hotel. The staff were friendly, professional and made our stay absolutely wonderful. The food and views from the roof garden are second to none and the cleanliness was first class. All the facilities were good. The ground floor restaurant was impressive - excellent breakfast and first class Polish dinner cuisine (we didn't have time to try the roof-top restaurant). The best thing was the immense helpfulness of the staff in recovering our lost luggage!. We stayed in a suite which had superb views to the river and castle and was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful,we arrived at the hotel early and were able to get straight into our room. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Originally given a small room which was a bit noisy at the back of the hotel. We were changed following day after seeing reception to a bigger room with side castle view. Mini bar and room service was reasonable. Roof top bar and restaurant excellent. Perfect location for a city break in Krakow, helpful reception staff, great value 2 for 1 cocktails during happy 2 hours!! Good varied buffet breakfast. Plenty of shampoo etc in bathroom. Only thing was the weather, we had lots of snow, and don't visit the city during Easter weekend as its shut!! Avoid Easter Sunday and Monday anyway. Roof terrace was closed for 2 of the nights we were there (private functions) 10/15 min walk to main square. Nothing. The only negative was my bedroom's mattress which it was quite soft for my liking. Other than that everything else was great. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone that intent to visit Krakow. hotel had been overbooked so transfered to sister hotel for first night. inconvenient but was given free bottle of wine on return to Kossak and free breakfasts for 3 days. compensation good enough. The only complaint was the restaurant was closed on the Wednesday and we were not informed. Nothing. Parking is across the street infront of Sheraton Hotel, infront of Kossak is only public parking where coins are necessary. A little bit noisy at night as it is near a busy road. n/a. cannot fault my stay. just not long enough and cant wait to go back. nothing - but if I have to indicate something - then I missed a small balcon in my room. We were told that breakfast was included when we arrived. On entering the breakfast room we were told that it was not included. After apparent clarification with reception we were told ok. After breakfast we were asked to go to reception where we were then asked to pay. This was embarassing. Restaurant staff sometimes a little disorganised. Nothing, all good!. There as nothing we didn't like, we traveled with another couple and they say the same. The street outside could be a bit noisy. nothing to not like. shower not brilliant bed not really comfy. They didn't come in to clean out room so we had to ask for extra coffee and water. However when we asked they provided it very quickly which was excellent. The choice of TV channels was very limited. They fact that some funds are being held from my account even though I have paid the full amount. Very frustrating as this seems to always happen with letsbookhotel.com. The room was not cleaned one day until very late. Also the tissues for not replaced. The number Of tour operators that you deal with was too small. I was told was only two and I was not impressed with Cracow tours. Also, two of the clerks did not tell me about a bus to the airport that a third one did, despite my having. Asked. fitness centre too small and had to be booked. The Fitness room is poor so much so that it should not be advertised as such. nothing.
