The rooms are clean and comfortable, when we arrive we asked to change rooms as we preferred to be at the front of the hotel overlooking the river. The staff were very accommodating and had no problem with us changing. The breakfast is excellent for a variety of tastes. Spa and swimming pool perfect after a long day. The appearance and newly renovated interior. It felt bright and modern. The breakfast selection was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and a decent size. The view was nice over the river.

There are hotels with better locations in Krakow. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the edge of Kaziemierz and about 25 minutes to the edge of The main square. Taxi is the most convenient alternative, but you can walk 5 minutes to the main hub for trams and buses and select one of those which will get you most places in a short time. Parking bit pricy. Noisy air conditioning!. Location of the hotel was a 25 min walk from the main square. Nothing. Only one complaint, the dinner menu was very limited and served in novelle cuisine style which I hate. Food is not art, please serve normal food in reasonable portions. Service at the wellness. Especially one lady was very unprofessional. I am young person and I had feeling I was not treated the same as other guests who used spa facilities. No free WiFi on hotel room - only to purchase. Restaurant did not have a big chose of meal bit dissapointed as we had to eat out. Not right in centre but not a problem for us. Beds were a bit hard, and we could not turn off the light behind the TV so had to cover it with the bedspread!. We would have liked a small fridge in the room.A couple of small problems in the room and the response from the staff was surprisingly slow. One member of staff unlocked our door and walked in while we were in bed in afternoon!. Busy with young children - noisy in the corridors. Reception and bar area occasionally congested. Room A/C control unit was confusing - radiator valve was missing. No Iron in room. There was a disco in the terrace room which was still very noisy at 2am - but did go quiet after we complained. Jacuzzi wasnt working properly. Ice machine on our floor wasnt working. Heating in bedroom not very warm, had to contact reception as they control heating in rooms. Maintainance work of hotel started at 08.00 (drlling & hammering). We were not warned of this. Just a little concern - no alarm clock / clock in the room makes it difficult a bit. Especially at night the visible (lighted) clock would help light "night sleepers" like myself. Half a mile away from market square the walk back was not far but passed thru a questionable area of krakow taxi was cheap tho. Not enough English Chanells. Swimming pool could be deeper. No lotion in bathroom. nothing. nothing. Due to the incompetence of the receptionist , first at check-in and later at check-out, money (a substantial amount) in my account were blocked for at least one week. This situation could have been avoided!!!! And not one word "sorry". No free Wi-Fi in the room, No cold drinks in the standard room. As we have just visited in July there was little outside area for sitting after a full day sightseeing. too far from centre no control over groups of noisy and disruptive young men in the spa area the noise of doors slamming throughout the night. cleanliness of room no ironing board room too hot.
