It is called Hostel, but we lived like a hotel. The breakfast is little, but other things are excellent. We had a very pleasant stay at the Golden hostel, the staff was really friendly and we were very profesionally treated, even though we changed a bit our option in the last moment. Quality products for breakfast, perfect location if you need to leave early in the morning! I think they deserve good rating, really.

There was no towel in the shower room, and no milk provided for tea/coffee.Not really a problem, but the bathroom was damp and smelly!. breakfast was said to be from 7am to 11am, however when we arrived in the hall at 9.30am there was nothing left and the staffs only advise was to arrive earlier the next morning. Possibly a little bit overpriced for what you get. Quite a walk (15min) to the centre of the old town. I was a bit disappointed to the level of cleaning we had seen through out our stay they don't change the bed sheets and no one seem to concern about cleaning our bed room especially the bed sheets.The doors to the "flaat" (not to our room) were teribly difficult to open. It took a long time to make the key work and get the door open. Website says free airport transfer - this is not true. However hostel is very easy and cheap to get to on the train.No towels in bathroom, mattress very old and uncomfortable. We were there on a weekend and the other guests were extremely lively and therefore extremely noisy!!. breakfast was not proper; one croissant and cups of tea/coffee surely does not imply BandB accomodation. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke. the rooms are not air-conditiond, therefore air-coolers or fens shouldbe available. No towels. No toilet paper. The price was quoted as being inclusive of full english breakfast when in fact all that was supplied were some very stale looking, sweet pastries and black coffee. The Hostel bedrooms are very basic but they seemed to be clean,but there was no towels which I found annoying but you get what you pay for but for 48 Euro I expected a little more,very basic.Room is small and rate is quite high. felt misinformed about airport transferes. It was only one way i.e.from airport, as explained lower down the web page,,,,,but how is it then transfereS. Tanoy from the Train and Bus Stations starting a 06:00. No hairdryer or towels. Basic bedding arrangements and breakfast was a disaster. Paid for full English breakfast and what was servced was not even a continental - sticky bun with coffee. breakfast was poor. we booked a double room but when we got there it was so small we thought it was a single it was that small. there was no towels and we did not get fresh ones in the whole of our stay. however when we complained we were moved to a bigger room.
