Superb hotel near the main Krakow centre yet only 20 minutes taxi drive from the airport. Staff were very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and a delight to be with. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had it not been for the knowledge and willingness of the staff we would not have been able to pack in so much in so little time. This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

The room was quiet at the back of the building looking out on back gardens of neighbouring properties. Helpful and friendly staff with fantastic previsit assistance.. Conveniently and sufficiently centrally located. One of the most pleasant city places I have ever stayed in.Aga was really welcoming when we arrived, she showed us a map of Krakow and advised us on places to eat and view etc. The room was impressive, really clean and the hotel was within walking distance of the entire city centre. The facilities were brilliant, and Aga was always willing to arrange taxis to take us where we wanted to go. We highly recommend this hotel!. Exceptional quality modern apartments with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The superior rooms are outstanding with big flat screen TVs and DVD (on the rare occasion that you run out of things to do in Krakow!). The continental breakfast was delicious and well worth an extra few euros.Very good service from the hostess Aga - she organised airport transfers and was happy to give us advice on eating and drinking, even at 11pm when we arrived. Also, nice touch to have free vodka, coffee biscuits available in the kitchen area, and wine and beer available to buy. the welcome (so friendly0, the room- which was beautifully decorated, the location and of course the range of (free) tea and coffee 9and the cookies)- it's not every day of the week you get to stay somewhere that has a Krupps coffee maker for you to use. The vicinity to the main part of town is wonderful. And there's a decent-sized grocery store just 2 blocks away. The trams are super-close. I loved the flexibility of having kitchen facilities and a laptop for the use of the guests. the rooms were very clean and well presented. Also the use of the kitchen and free tea and coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The price of the room was also very reasonable... would recommend it to friends. brillent. The aparments were situated in a very convenient location for the centre of town- we were able to walk everywhere, although the No.4 tram ran from the bottom of the street to the main square. Aga was very friendly and gave excellent information both before (by email) and on arrival as well as good recommendations for restaurants, transport etc. The room was spacious and well decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked. This Hotel is nice and clean. It's small hotel, with just 4 rooms. It's good, it's not a very big hotel where there are 100 people inside. Paying in cash only (£, €, Polish złoty, US$) is a mild hassle but that really is trying very hard to find a fault. There was a booking error initially during our stay, however, this was more than satisfactorily resolved. It would have been nice to have the heat turned on a little more. The bathroom towel warmer and the room radiator never seemed to be hot. Not that we froze, but the room was chilly at times.Upon arrival, the exterior of the building was a bit run down so initially it was not very pleasing, however once we entered into the hotel, we forgot about the exterior. There was also insufficient lighting on the street the hotel was located. We were invited to join other guests for breakfast (provided on weekends only), but were not told in advance that there would be a charge.No Air Conditioning so room can get hot. Entrance - very dark and run down. The selection of tv channels- it would be nice to expand to include one english speaking channel? this is a very minor thing though, as we still watched the channels available, and guessed at what they were on about. Room was not serviced. If you asked for something, it was provided.Entrance is off putting. The breakfast was really expensive, so we just had coffee every morning. The lack of 24 hour reception is very inconvenient, the reception was never there when we needed them to be (check-in and check-out). Plus, there is no way to reach the reception except by a phone number that they leave with you, but they have no phone. So a traveller travelling without a cell phone has no way to reach them.Stayed 3 nights, room was never cleaned and never received any clean towels. Security.

Information about the area

The former capital of Poland is the country's cultural centre due to its thousand year old history. There are many legends about Wawel Hill with its castle and cathedral. The central market square - one of the biggest in Europe - is the heart of the city, but Krakow is also known for its churches and cafe gardens, all surrounded by Planty park with a chestnut avenue and green promenade. There is also a small town outside the city: the Jewish Kazimierz, the old Barbican in front of entrance to the old town and the remnants of the medieval wall encompassing it all.
