I liked the clean, modern accommodation which was very good value for money. The location was great as we were only about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the old town. The hotel is situated in the Jewish Quarter and there were places of interest and good restaurants. Towels are not changed daily but you are able to request a change whenever required. It was good to have a kettle in the room.

Rooms to front are very noisy due to traffic and many bars in the area, rooms to the back are beautifully quiet, some room furnishings are poor quality (wardrobe doors jammed up and shower heads fell down), there is no lift to upper floors and for unfit / handicapped people this is bad news.noise of other guests. The food in the hotel for main meals wasn't that good, the breakfast offered was very good but any of the other meals were not up to the standard you would expect from a hotel like this. Also the bar which was part of the hotel closed fairly early (midnight) and often we'd want to have a few more drinks before going to bed and couldn't.well, some things concerning the hotel room, We missed a radio so we could listen to music. Some small problems with the shower that the handyman didn't fix but all in all no problems. the room was not cleaned as routine you had to request cleaners and change of towels also no heating that the customer could control. bit noisy over weekend as overlooks a popular road. The lack of a lift will make the good staircase a little difficult if slightly "happy" after a night out or if not fully fit.The room was very small and on the 3th floor with no lift. When we arrived our room was double booked so we had to be moved to apartments nearby, also owned by the hotel. Too hot!! ie. no aircon. I didn`t like the loud music in the breakfastroom during breakfast. shame the bar was closed!!. the breakfast buffet was poor-the coffee was always cold, the cheese hardened on top and the bread dry/stale. Breakfast service started at 7am and food wasn't really refreshed throughout the morning so by 10:30 it was all stale. When we pointed this out to staff, however, they were always very helpful and accommodating. no kettle in room also an issue, yet tea, coffee and cups provided?. Lack of lift was a disappointment as our room was on top floor. No Lift. attention to detail was poor - shower - unable to hook onto wall, shelves hanging from wall, small things that would of made the difference. The room was small and crowded. The central heating was inappropriate, we had to use the bathroom heater for the room as well.Noise from the bar was loud at night. the noise which came from other guests using the stairs and corridors. Much too hot in rooms, unable to sleep at night due to heat. Needs to have air conditioning installed or an adequate supply of powerful fans. rooms were only cleaned on request - this is ok for bed linen and towel changes, but would have thought bins would be emptied and bathroom cleaned without request. Also showerhead was broken and had to be hand held and sliding wardrobe door off hinges, which we fixed, Mentioned both to hotel reception. Small rooms. The streets outside were very noisy with peoplke shouting until after 4.00 am. very small room. No air conditioning; no lifts; noisy guests and noise from street, as windows were left open because of the heat, meant lack of sleep.
