The apartment was central to all amenities and away from the busier squares but very close to the many squares,restaurants and markets. The view was superb and facilities were more than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. Security was excellent, doors had double locks and each apartment had keys for the lift and the shared door (between 2 apartments) free safe and internet access- great!!.

We got quick helpful responses to a couple of emailed queries before our visit, and this was matched by the friendly welcome from the receptionist on our arrival. The apartment was well-kitted out, and very comfortable - the efficient 24 hour heating was especially welcome during our January stay!. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable with every modern facility,the adjoining restaurant served a great breakfast for 20zloty and had a lovely evening meal menu.It was also a cocktail bar and had a great atmosphere and the staff were very polite and friendly something we found lacking in a lot of establishments in Krakow.The location of the apartments is fantastic. The room was beautiful. There isn't a better value in Poland. We were shocked, and we got the cheapest room. I'll bet the others are remarkable. Great decor, a small kitchen with silverware, flatware, microwave, stove, and refrigerator. Perfect little getaway suite for a couple. 2 Min. from the square. Secure. Friendly staff. If you have multiple people staying in one room, conserve your hot water. We had enough for 1 hot shower the 1st morning. The studio is a 5th floor walk-up. It can be kind of tough on you after a full day of sight seeing. The only english channels on the 400 channel satellite tv are 3 news channels, no entertainment, but that's how Polish satellite and cable tv are. If you speak german it's ok.The shower runs out of hot water quickly so just bare that in mind if you are a big group of girls or have teenagers in your group!. thre was a slight smell in the toilets, but only now and again. It wasnt a real problem. There were also renovation works going on so the hallway was very dusty, and there was was a bit of noise, but only during the weekdays.only one minor thing - it would have been good to have had some milk for the tea and coffee. Some noise from stairway during the night with people coming in late.noise from adjecent pub. The only thing wrong with the hotel was that we was on the top floor ( 88steps ) and two of our guests have asthma, but we did not state that on our booking, no fault of the hotel or booking.com.unfortunately we wweere on the 4th floor and thers was no lift. Building work going on next door.needed a frying pan in kitchen. the lift.use the stairs. Only one elevator key for our group of 7. there was no lift- had to carry buggy up and down 4 flights of stairs. I brought my elderly parents so I requested a ground floor appartment or use of a lift, however they could'nt accomodate, what we got was a third floor appartment with no lift in the block! not ideal. A lot of stairs which we were aware of. Not for the disabled.In cold seasons it's better to switch on heating a little before the visit of guests. For example, when we arrived it was about +14 C inside. no it was pretty much perfect.

Antique Apartments reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards in case of any damages for the amount equal of 100% payment for the first night. Please note that Antique Apartments are located in a quiet, residential area and as such is not suitable for parties. A damage deposit of PLN 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Information about the area

There are many attractions nearby, including shops, restaurants, cafes, transport links, museums and theatres are all within easy reach. The apartments are located 70 metres from the market square. In the building next door, right on the corner of Jagiellonska Street and the Szczepanski Square you will find the Old Theatre. From the side of the Planty (the park surrounding the old city) the Palac Sztuki is located. Built in 1902 it houses the Friends of the Arts. A little more modest is building number 11 on Szczepanski Square which houses the Stanislaw Wyspianski museum.

The closest airport is in Balice; we offer a pick up and drop off service upon reservation.

By Bus:
To get to the airport take bus number 192 or 208, the closest stop is on Plac Inwalidow.
From there take tram number 4, 8, 13 or 14 towards Bagatela.
To get from the train station take bus number 74, 79, 124 or 152, or the tram number 4, 13 or 14.
