microtel Palawan is very nice hotel, the staff are very friendly, they are very concerned with their guest security and comfort. the hotel itself is suberp, good for those who just want to grab a book and read with the view of a very calm sea. Very relaxing and quiet. a piece of paradise. Great breakfast, nice pool. Free tea/coffee at lobby. Beautiful beach. Access to the internet around the hotel / beach / pool. Free shuttle to the city & airport. Kayak for 200php / hour. Clean modern room.

Resort is beach front and is awesome. friendly staff, free shuttle service, booked the tours for us no problem, free bucket & spade for our son... the location is paradise staff friendly but had to usually ask for something twice great breakfast. nice environment, best place for relaxation and family bonding. The location was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff were extremley friendly, polite and helpful. Beach, Swimming pool, private bay, restaurant. The place is clean and have a friendly staff. great staff and amenities. Good stay!. Nice location, bit far from town. The pool and the quiet location with seaview from the balcony. Ac was quiet. They had hammocks were you could rest and watch the stars. Beach front location. It is kind of off the road and the road to get there is very bumpy. room key needs reprogramming everyday, noisy students. not a great variety on menu for dinner had ground floor room and hallway was very noisy laundry delivered at 6.30am instead of 5pm. previous day. Since its a new set up, some procedures like tour timing, staff's knowledge about the facilities and their timing etc. Even though it had "cable TV" advertised, there was only 1 extra channel, so not really cable TV. limited choice at breakfast. The breakfast buffet is not that good. Breakfast buffet and internet poor. Far from the center but they had a free shuttle several times a day. Advertised on the website as 4 star, late book out was huge price for a couple of hours,. Far from the city centre and the beach in front of the hotel was not really nice. I must say the only nice beaches I found can be reached with the boat (honda bay). Beaches in Puerto Princesa are usually not that nice!. Noisy room- no sound proofing. You can hear every footstep in the corridor or in the adjoining room. Staff too busy on their mobile phones rather than working. >Food, especially breakfast which was terrible. Noise at night (personel was printing something the whole night by noisy printer). Breakfest too simple.
