For the price, it was excellent! Good sized room, GREAT balcony, nice yard, very helpful and friendly staff, they offered trips around Bohol and the islands, they had scooters to rent, wifi worked in my room the whole time I was there, there were plenty of electrical outlets -- even on the balcony, there are nearby restaurants. They cleaned my room everyday and welcomed me by name each time I came back from the beach. The place is small -- only 7 rooms.
all reviews » I was extremely impressed by this guesthouse with clean and nice scenery room as well as a very beautiful and greenery garden for the guest to enjoy. The owner is very smart to find a five minutes shorcut to alona beach. The quiet environment really suitable for those that want to relax for the whole trip which you can't get it from the hotel along the alona beach. The owner and his staff were very friendly. It was a highly recommended place to stay. Chillout guesthouse is in close proximity to the beach (especially if taking the short way suggested by the reception). Staff was very friendly and assistance given on each request. Cute rural design (loved the walkway of bamboo and hammoks) fits well into village surroundings. Chillout panglao Great place to stay for a few days on Panglao. it has the advantages of being quite close from the beach and the diving shops (like 10min by foot) but still.out of all these resorts right on the beach. They have some menus from a few restaurants around the beach that can deliver rmeams.to the guesthouse. Very helpful staff,. To start, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. You can order in food and "chill out" on a couch outside and enjoy your meal. Take the shortcut route to the beach (no more than 10 minutes away). I really enjoyed my stay here. I had my own room and enjoyed the couch area outside. Very quiet and calm. The staff were very friendly and helpfull when we needed help of any kind. They even asked us to join them for dinner (: it was so nice and tasty! Room was nice and simple.. The shortcut to alona beach was very helpfull... only 10 min. Amazing place and friendly staff. No fridge or tv. The hotel had some shoddy construction -- walls / door have cracks in them. But still it was a nice place for the price. The toilet seat in my room has broken. The location at night is not very safe or lit up if you want to leave the guesthouse on foot. The room has no window! Toilet was broken and didn't work well.. one of the staff tried to fix it though.. sometimes when we back room after a long day found that room haven't been cleaned yet.our heatting machine in the shower was broken spent more than 3 days to fix.we have to take cold shower during this time. no tv but since you don't go there to watch tv, we can do away with it. A bit far from the beach but walking 7 min is still ok. There should be fridge in the room.. it is really hard to find this place because it is far from the alona beach（15 min walk）and just in the jungle. Thin walls, could hear neighbouring farm and guests.
