The pool was nice and especially the sauna was excellent! The room was,nice and big with big windows. Good selection of tv-channels. Beware, there's another hotel called Herald Suites (not Solana). Our taxi insisted on taking us there even though we gave the correct address. But the hotel staff paid for our taxi to the correct hotel which was very nice. The service in general was excellent.
all reviews » Second time I have stayed at this hotel. The room is fabulous – big, with shower and bath. Staff helpful and accommodating and not in your face. The location is something that might not appeal to everyone as it's a short taxi ride to most lively places, but I like it because it's set in an everyday Filipino suburb. loved all the staff from the management raff, edwin, richard, boy,mel, grace, shaanti, madelynne, roxanne, just to name a few who made our stay memorable and fun....they are all amazing people who will go out of their way for their guests...thanks so much to you all :)). I like the breakfast and the cozy room with good amenities, the rooftop pool and sauna as well as the location of the hotel. The staff were also very attentive and polite. Their security people were also nice and responsible. Room was classy and big with lovely views of Makati city. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Food there was fantastic breakfast and Dinner! I would stay there again!! Great hotel especially if ur a smoker or non smoker. Nice big room with comfortable bed. The pool on the top floor was a bonus feature and offered good views of the city. The free shuttles to the Green Belt area was also very handy. Fairly easy getting the city subway too. The staff were friendly and always response when we needed help. Rooms were large and well maintained for a dated hotel. Bathroom was large and well appointed. Door staff were efficient and friendly. All the staff at Herald Suites were very friendly and made our 10 days stay very comfortable. Big Rooms Friendly staff. Location. Rooms are a bit dated, but it didn't bother us. The menu options are a bit limited, especially breakfast where the options are very limited and the guest can't mix and match. If you want fruit and an omelette you have to request two breakfasts. Also, those breakfast that include fruit have only a very small amount of fruit. liked everything no complaints :). The pillows were not very comfortable and the bathroom shower is not nice. Finding the hotel was confusing at first. I'd read that somebody in the past had been allowed to check-in early (for no extra charge) when their flight landed at 5am; we weren't offered the same and had to pay the cost of an extra night to check in early. Secondly, as others have said, the resident cockerel over the road and dogs are a guaranteed alarm clock early each morning. There's a building next door that is sometimes noisy in early hours of the morning. nothing. location. poor breakfast options incuded in room price. had to ask and have argument before getting what we thought was fair. this spoilt the experience dinning options limited to one cafe in the hotel. Swimming pool was Ok but nothing special...dated also. I found that although the towels in the bathroom were very clean, they were too small and had an off-white gray colour......perhaps change the colour of the towels to light green or yellow =) Plus, have more vegetarian options on your food menu, at the restaurant and room service. Street Noise Uncomfortable mattress Breakfast Needs improvement. No comments.
