We chose this hotel because we recently lived for 9 months in a condo suite that is part of the Hotel complex - so we knew it was good, and the location suited the purpose of our stay. Close to Makati center. Everything was great, breakfast staff were very accommodating, reception was very friendly, and our housekeeper was very nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if traveling to Manila. :-).

Very Little. Like most places in Manila foreigners need to be wary of scammers and opportunistic thieves in the streets. hotel was a little hard to find but worth it. Trying to extend my stay for one day was a rather tedious process. Had to explain several times that I wanted to extend my stay which took another couple of hours before I heard from the front desk. It was rather annoying. The front desk person needs to be more effective in handling such matters. They charge us 100 php for the adapter while usually the 3-5 stars hotels don't charge for any borrowing requests.. Sometimes they don't answer the calls... Poor Staff training. Could not locate reservations each of the 4 times we stayed. Hotel is spread over 3 separate buildings with 2 separate and unconnected and uncoordinated receptions. Bell boys were lazy and impolite. The only "problem" was finding the restaurant on the forth floor but that was probably more our own fault!!!. At first, it was a bit confusing going from one building to another. Food: room for improvement. Breakfast: If you're serving American Breakfast, you need to have: egg, ham, sausages or beacon. Fresh fruits is good. Bread, muffins etc. Your breakfast is more like dinner. It appears that's your left over from previous night. Make it simple, more is not necessary better. I like this hotel and will go back there again. Hope you will improve food department. Major problems with internet and room key. Needed to change internet access code 8 times during stay, and needed to get new room key 4 times because key wouldn't work after a day or two. Also, internet very slow. Diffecult to relax and sleep due to noise of heavy cranes in next building for constructions and renovation / maintenance. None. Non smoking in all the hotel. If I need to smoke I go out side in the street. I couldn't stay more than one day. The hotel is 2 building. When I ask for one bedroom suite thy ask me to go to the next tower. And if I wanna book online I don't know what building I am going to Check in. This is so confusing!!!. There were only two lifts to serve the hotel guests and residents, which made waiting time longer!. dim lighting throughout, small bathroom, many tv channels are not available. The breakfast needs a little bit more variety for western visitors disapointed with the cost and food choice offered I was awoken by a phone call at 11.30pm to advise me my laundry was ready also I asked whether I should use a taxi for two separate outings I was advised the hotel transport was cheapest option it wasnt I was charged 700 pesos and for the same trip back in a taxi cost me 85 pesos a very unsatisfied customer. Breakfast buffet not great, broken running machines in gym. Waking up to housecleaning at 900am. The food (breakfast) was the worst! Needs more smoking areas!. Had few security issues with thief but got resolved with Head Security and gm of the hotel. Wifi is only on the ground floor. No hot water in the bath room. Not suitable for smokers because its not allowed in all around the hotel. Wifi is very slow. Poor wifi. Bed was not flat. It dipped in the middle. Very unconfotable to sleep in. Shower was luke warm at best. Mildew on shower curtain and around the shower corners. Bed sheets had (what appeared to be) fresh blood stains on them. Very nasty. You can't "cook" on the room. So the ad is a little misleading. It's got a very small microwave. No stove. F-....NO ICE at 2 AM are you JOKING!?! F+...microwave not working/wrong circutry F-- ....another...yes ANOTHER Best Western of Manila did NOT pick me up at the Airport? (Makiti in September) ggggrrrrrrr walking around trying to grab a cab at 1:15 AM is PATHETIC c+...no facecloths...wow. f--- and then I tried to turn on TV...another 2 AM JOKE...seems the cable box was disconnected. We had to call maintenece b-...a kitchette...with NO untensils. It's pretty busy and jsut a tiny bit run down, but excellent value for money. If you are bothered by lively night life this is not the place to stay. The pipes had a strange smell coming out of them and it made the bathroom smell terrible. Wifi did not stretch into the bedroom of the one bedroom suite I had. Very inconvenient!. The view of the room, I asked for a change and no one made it happen,,. very disappointing rooms in both old and new tours. bathrooms really low standard room furniture was poor we experienced ants and cockroaches these comparisons are vs the Ramada Central and Pan Pacific which were both significantly better in accomodation terms, although not necessarily in location. The lifts were incredibly slow, there were only two to serve 20-odd floors. Room was a bit tired, claustrophobic and dark, especially for a 'one bedroom suite'. Shower didn't spray too well. Unnecessarily high deposit was charged at check in. I booked 2 double rooms and found we had 2 single beds in both rooms - despite my having booked at least 2 months ago. They said all double bed rooms gone. However, after complaining long enough they found appropriate rooms. >Internet connection was on and off and when on slow. The room was not available by check in time...I was told to wait for 30 mins to prepare the room. I chose to leave and returned by night time to check in. Room service. Very poor customer service. temperature control inside room & aisle. We booked 2 rooms apartment one room ok but the other Room really small bed small also. bed not king size. No Smoking. Not clean, cockroaches. Mold on the wall in the shower etc.Several lights did not function. Airco was dripping water. Maintenance and cleaning should be much better to give a comfortable feeling. I did not get the room I requested,I felt unrespected and unwanted as an African American.There were no towels in the gym or pool side and the jacuzzi was cold. The staff are really not professional. You ask for example an iron from the housekeeper then you dream to get it. Unfortunately , There wansnt an obligation from their side for the third time in this year ( Jan , Mar and Nov) , every time they are trying to push me to stay at the old tour ( A Venue hotel ) while my reservation is clearly it AntelSpa Hotel. the size and cleanliness of the room. Poor service from reception, Smelly room, slow lifts, problems with payment.
