We stayed at this hotel twice during our stay in Peru. The staff were very friendly in particular Danny on reception. The breafast was very good with a variety of fruit,yogurts,bread and cooked items on offer. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The first time we stayed we got a room at the top of the hotel with a balcony which had good views. The second room we had was fabulous large double bed and a big bath, mini bar and seating area.Free internet although a little slow. Excellent .
all reviews » Location couldn´t have been any more convenient, hotel is just behind the cathedral. We had an entire apartment to ourselves with a little living room area with sofas, two bathrooms and a spacious bedroom and excellent bed. The staff were very welcoming and considerate. Breakfast was plentiful with a huge variety of options. There was complimentary tea available at reception. Great hotel with an affordable price - room was lovely and comfortable (as were the beds), bathroom was clean and the rain shower was a fantastic surprise. The staff were excellent and booked all of our trips for us, including onward bus travel to Arequipa, as well as sorting out laundry etc. Fantastic service!. The staff was amazing, everyone was friendly and helpfull. The location couldn't be bettet, right on the main square. The breakfast was very good, and since most of the guests leave early to trip to titikaka, or to an early bus to cusco, it starts at 6. Friendly staff helpful and informative. Clean airy rooms, good plentyful breakfasts, quiet hotel. Right in the centre of Puno, so easy to get to all tourist attractions. Very friendly staff, clean facilities, perfect location. Great location, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. location just off the Plaza des Armas in Puno, only a couple of blocks from the walking street and lots of restaurants & bars, 10-minute walk to a couple of viewpoints above the city and 20-minute leisurely walk to Lake Titicaca shore. Nice sitting areas in the rooms, one wall complete glass, overlooking the (back of) the Cathedral. One room had wonderful feather duvet blankets, and both rooms had very nice bathrooms. Breakfast was great: buffet with eggs, fresh fruit, different breads, . The breakfast is nice for 3 star hotel - good value-for-money. In preparation for the big fiesta there was a lot of music and marching around the main square, which in no way was the fault of the hotel, but this may be a noisy location at different times of the year. Nothing not to like!. The room facing the square was rather small, and since it us facing south- west it was really hot inside, withouth ac. The noise I guess comes with such a central location. The other room we had, facing the back court was bigger, quiet and cool. I'd recommend everyone to ask for the room facing back. They had a lovely breakfast room, which was totally underuterlised. It would have been very useful to have been able to eat light dinner or snack there, especially as we arrived late and didn't feel like going out. There was some problem with Wi-Fi in the rooms. Supposedly the hotel was working to fix this. Free Wi-Fi was available in the lobby. the rooms got quite warm during the day (window wall), and there was a curtain separating the sitting area from the rest and providing a screen from the outside world. Would have been nicer to have curtains directly over the windows and not in the middle of the room, so we could use the sitting area and enjoy the space. We had to ask for a heater, because it was cold in our room. Wi-Fi was out of service.
