I was a bit concerned booking this bb considering the low price in comparison with others in mp but I shouldn't have. The room is nice, clean and big enough (if I remember well, it even has a heater but we never used as we didn't need it), bed is comfy, water is hot, intenet is working and at least on the back it's very quiet. This a clean, basic, comfortable, moderately priced place to stay en route to or from Machu Picchu. It had everything we needed and the staff was helpful. A young man met our train and guided us to the place, which was good because it would not have been easy to find at night. They served us breakfast at 5am so we could get to Machu Picchu by sunrise and the same man who met our train took us to the place to buy tickets for M.P. Check out time is 9:30am (!!) but they kept our bags for us un. This is a good value B&B. Rosa, the owner, was very kind and accommodated us with everything. She cooked us eggs every morning. The location is right in the middle of Aguascalientes, close to train, bus, shops, market, restaurants! It was everything we could have wanted! We spent 2 nights here, spent one full day at Machu Picchu. Highly recommend Wachuma B&B!. The lady who runs Wachuma is so kind! She brought us fresh towels multiple times, and when we arrived back from Machu Picchu, she even brought us tea. She also served us breakfast at 4 in the morning even though it did not start until 4:30. Honestly the nicest place ever! And it is right next to the train station! I highly recommend it. Rosa was very helpful, thank you! they had an internet connection (did not try it though), breakfast ready at 4.30 which is great for those wanting to visit Machu Picchu early morning, was clean, very close to the bus stop for going up to Machu Picchu, honestly good value for money in the area. Comfortable room, great price, the owner was very hospitable and helpful - she gave us some tips before our visit to Machu Picchu. She knows alot about the town and tourism and was very helpful with information. Breakfast was nice and was served according at the time we asked for it. Room was clean, cosy, and bright. A heater appeared in the room while I was out, which made it really cosy overnight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for trains and buses. Would certainly stay there again. The hostel is in great location, less than 5 min walk from the train and bus station. This place seems to run by 2 very young men. They speak very little English, which is ok, they managed to provide direction and explained what we need to get around town. The only 2 things that we think they could have managed better is to check the room before client check in. First, there were no light, we told them and it was fixed right away. Next, there were no water in the bathroom, toilette didn't . Very clean and easy to find. It's very close to the train and bus stations. Stored our bags for the day while we were in MP. A great value!. The rooms were good and clean ! Extra heater in the room (to dry our wet clothes). Wachuma B & B is very well located; the rooms have a nice view; the breakfast was nice and the owner was quite helpful. I had to cancel the first night here as I was sick (in hospital); and she kindly did not charge us a cancellation fee. It is very central and close to the train station and bus. The shower workt and the total condition was ok. The location is great !! and that's the only positive I can say. Location. Couldn't pay with cc, had to pay cash. Nothing. Loved it. there was nothing I didn't like. It was not 5 stars but really good for the purpose we booked it for - a close place to the bus stop going to Machu Picchu. A bit noisy in the morning since there is a school at the back of the hostel and our room was looking over it's courtyard. missing shower curtains. I could hear everything that was happening outside our window. The shower. The hot water took three trials to work and the supply was very weak. Bed wasn't the best. We were told someone would meet us at the train station, but that did not happen. We were also told breakfast would be ready at 4:30am so we could get on the first bus to MP, but it wasn't. WiFi was only accessible from the lobby. The streets outside were very noisy at night. The staff : when we arrived a young lad sat at the counter, looked at us and ... did nothing ! He kept on playing with his cell phone. When I said we had a reservation he looked at me and still ... nothing ! After a few minutes he started yelling, and about 10 minutes later a lady came down, handed the keys and pointed to the room. When we had checked out and were waiting for the train, my girlfriend had to go to the bathroom. She asked and they just said NO ... Impolite staff ... It is not comfortable at all - nothing like the pics! The sheets were dreadfully old and full of balls; and both of us itched and scratched all through the night!? Not sure what it was as we had no obvious bites the next day (have experienced beg bugs before). Not pleasant - I am not fussy and can usually sleep anywhere! Eventually I got my towel out and slept on that. I would not recommend it as I think there are better options in Aguas Calientes. There was nobody in the morning and no breakfast the morning I departed. The bed was used already and only one towel. Also toilet paper was not in the room. There is no safe. This is not a B&B its a hostel/ backpackers at best there was no breakfast provided because the owners couldn't be found in the morning. We waited for over an hour for one of the young brother owners to set up breakfast but no one showed up- other stayers left after waiting ages as well. This was a horrible experience and we shouldn't of had to pay what we did !!. it's overpriced and it's not very nice.
