The Sohar Crowne is a beautiful hotel. My room was immaculate, modern, and spacious. They have free no hassle wireless. The bath tub was deep and so relaxing. My bed and pillows were heavenly. Most of all, the staff were so kind and helpful. Everything I required, they provided. The desk staff even walk you to your room to make sure it is fine. I loved the food in the Mediterranean restaurant and the POOL was wonderful. You will be so happy you stayed here. You will go home relaxed.

I came with my mother, and we were both uncomfortable to swim in the pool as there were adults and children swimming with their clothes on. We weren't comfortable wearing bathing suits. Also, the internet in our room was either non-existent or VERY weak. Nothing. As a hotel catering to business people, there was a bit of a lack of atmosphere due to us being there at the weekend and there not being many guests. Restaurants have limited cuisine and food options. Location is a bit out of town. Unless one has a vehicle, it is difficult to go around the city. Lack if more tv channels. Wifi connection. Billing style is Very bad. Eg. Basic + (All taxe should be under one heading). Food and Beverage should be billed as one. Even on requeste and agreed bill was seperate. Really I dont like this. Parking , food, room service. none. Limited options in breakfast , expensive. Small sweat not like what imagined. The served coffee could be of a better quality. The possibility of making a vpn to the office server was blocked wich was very inconvienent. Room road side a little bit noisy. breakfast buffet could be better rate is too high considering location. I was suprised that the hotel offered cheaper prices if i booked directly with them. that was a shock for me as i though letsbookhotel.com will get me the best deal. I will recommend it but not through letsbookhotel.com, its better to call them and book directly. The Cappucino!. No lady cleaners, so men enter ladies toilets.
