Its a new hotel so everything is in good condition. Helpful and polite staff. The 2 bed apartment was great value and the gym and pool were nice features. We were travelling on business and most meetings were near airport so for us the location was convenient. Wouldnt recommend for a holiday though unless you like to see the residential areas of muscat. This is a new hotel that is in near new condition. We stayed in the two bedroom units which was spacious and had everything that we needed. Good amenities with pool and gym (pool a little cold). Breakfast was good with a good selection of both hot and cold food. Staff also friendly and keen to help.
all reviews » We only stayed one night on an airport stop over. Good value, comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, very nice helpful staff especially the guy on reception. About 15 minutes from the airport depending on how fast the driver speeds. Would stay again. The staff were very courteous and willing to attend the guests. It takes just a few minutes to get to the waterfront, where we could walk through the sea birds wandering around on the beach. It is also value for the rent you pay. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Everything was modern, aesthetically pleasing and clean. Comfortable bed, great shower, good wifi and good English cable channels. Our travel was during holiday season, so everything was running at full capacity. The most efficient service was the morning breakfast restaurant who seemed to be doing all the extra work with a smile, thumbs up to them. Space: the room was bigger than our needs, three bedrooms instead of two, each with bathroom and sharing a kitchen. Conditions: it's a new hotel Staff attitude: trying to please and be useful and kind to customers. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was clean. The food served in the restaurant was good, as were the servers. Staff are friendly and competent, but not 5 star quality. We all family liked the fact hotel is new and clean. It has been quite and good breakfast. Staff are majority pleasant, courteous. Location near sea (but no sea views from most rooms - beware - the hotel description implies all have sea views). big 2 bedroom suite, well furnished, modern design, very good price. If you have a car this hotel is hard to fault. Will stay here again. Absolutely nothing vegetarian on the dinner menu. Airport driver drove like a complete maniac! Not very much in the surrounding areas for tourists. The car parking is outside the building and guests have to leave their car in the sun. Their engineering department does not seem to be as caring as the other staff. We could not open the door, and the reason turned out to be the lock's battery which should have been replaced. It was not fixed as long as we were there. It was not cheap but it was a good price compared with its rivals 10-15 miles further from the city. So, really not bad. Although WiFi available everywhere, the speed was rather pedestrian. Nothing to dislike. Slow internet speed clogged shower drain no hot water in one of rooms limited movie channels. Location close to sea side but actually in a dirty environment. locating the hotel was bit tough. the facility exterior would look more 4 star if is has Aluminum cladding and higher bigger building. The interior hallways would be better with carpet and center pieces. in between room if they redecorate the kitchenette to make it more hotel look alike. more supervision to house keeping Car pickup: why do they call before coming to the airport to pickup? just come as mail and wait for the passenger don't let the passenger wait for you. The general comment of Gulf of Oman view is false, should be taken out from the ad. when you book online. The house keeping was either short of towels or just tired of holiday crowd, putting one bath towel at Studio apt. isn't a 4 Star service. The parking area outside is just pavement,. Location: it is really far away from Muscat, actually if you come from the airport it is in the opposite direction. Neighbourhood: Muscat and nearby towns, like all Oman, are super-clean; yet the area around the hotel, from which you can also see and reach the beach, are somehow under the standard; hard to believe that with all that space available, they are building at less than 3 meters from the windows of the hotel. The images on the site are all Photoshopped. The ocean backgrounds, the colours, it bears no resemblance to the hotel in reality. My first room stank of stale, pungent pipe smoke - I had to request a new room. It was all good during our stay in Eastin hotel and was sad at the end to deal with a rude, impatient receptionist staff female on 9th April 2013 durng our check out by 12.00 pm. Seems she is not trained on customer service skills.She hardly bared us to finish to explain the policy of paying for the stay in the hotel at the time of check out and not upon arrival. I hope your management is going to take an appropriate action to train her or replace her with professional staff. Hotel staff not helpful. Lot of things did not work (like TV, ac/ kept cutting out) and no attempt made to even look at them let alone fix them. Poor choice of food. Fittings very cheap and beginning to look worn even though hotel not been open very long. Directions to hotel need to be better. not particularly clean, kitchen range was outright dirty, has not been cleaned for a long time, pool filled with incredibly dirty, green water, full of sand. Whole pool area very dirty, should be closed. Very poor breakfast, choice just ok, but did not look appealing, hotel is good for a one-night stop, before or after a flight. Too far from Muscat old town. They were late with our airport pick up. Lack of communication regarding the hotel shuttle van - only available after 8am!! Don't stay here if you want to be close to Muscat and if you don't have a car. Smell in the room and the wireless internet never worked. size of the room is too small. we couldnt even have place to pray. there was noise at 3 in the morning from other guests it was smelly no good view no proper parking. Rooms were unfinished. Not a very good buffet breakfast. No view from our room. Hotel pool didn't cater very well to young children. We booked a two bedroom apartment, but there was no kitchen, and not enough cups, saucers, and kitchen utensils for everyone. Location was too far from Muscat. Staff not trained. Do not know how to use credit card machine Did not look at what was requested when be booked hotel is not what is advertised on letsbookhotel.com. Location bad One ac and TVs were not working when we checked in , promised to give us another room the next day but nothing happened! Very bad service, Facilites advertised should be working !! Stay away!. So many things are not hood at all like : The cleaning and service is too bad The food is very very bad. The hotel is not clean and manged well If you ask for any help takes a very long time to get a reply Swimming pool is not clean at all really very poor hotel I feel sorry to waist my time and mony there. location room setup breakfast building. The toilets showers were not clean. And the room were like someone smoked in it and it was Non- smoking room. Room cleaning is very poor For stutdio room the kitchen has only electrical oven and no other equipment even no trash box The sound from the corridor is very clear to hear in the room and In general i will never book this hotel again. everything! lighting in the room was disgusting, bathroom had limited hot water supply. floors were dirty. Horrible view! i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone visiting oman.
