Loved the room, very very nice. The breakfast was great, good selection of bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, pastries and fruit juice etc. The beds are very comfortable, I managed to sleep well even with a bad back. Location was good too, although the Atlantic is even more central. I arrived 3 hours earlier but room was available and I even was upgraded to the room about 60 sq.m. Great choice of food and natural juices including smoothies at breakfast. Central location, wide choice of toiletries including toothbrush and razor.

We specifically liked the friendly service in the restaurant on a late Saturday night plus the breakfast buffet. The breakfast is gorgeous! We found the staff a tiny bit stern. Not unfriendly, just a bit short. What annoyed me a bit is that they kept taking plates and glasses from us at breakfast even though we were still eating and started clearing the breakfast at 9.45 when it was supposed to be available until 10am on weekdays. The hotel is renovating some rooms so it is a bit noise. The swimming pool is very small. Some rooms have no view, they look to the inner hall. Too expensive! :). Always a hill to climb. Expensive. there was no fitness facility on site. Works going on at present during day but not warned about. Fast clearing of breakfast before 10.00. 1-My room curtains were torn(didn't bother me but takes away the wow factor!!), 2-there is no telephone at bedside!! if I recvd or wanted to make any calls I can't do it at the comfort of my bed..even at odd hours. Nothing. -Hotel need renovation or may be its already being renovated at this time. -Safe in room was not working, so staff changed my room. -All the safe in pool area were out of order too. -On Breakfast, staff couldn't honor my request for omlate, because their chef got busy in preparing lunch before the end of Breakfast time:). Themed room was gimmicky and was not impressed with pool and sauna. There were no staff and decor needed updating. Jacuzzi was not very hot and the sauna's were in changing rooms and not in operation. Long walk to airpot bus stop with suitcases. Bar closed during early evening, carpets in rooms not cleaned daily. TV reception poor Internet slow 1 towel in a business room Very over priced for a standard room The carpets were wet with other rooms being worked on Breakfast standard poor. There were very much noise, because they were constructing. At 7.30 in the saturday morning i was awakened by heavy drilling outside my door. On sunday morning at 8 o clock I was awakened by hard hammering om the floor above. I got 25% discount on the first night because of this. The noise continued both days until six in the afternoon. During check-in deposit of 400 NOK per room was taken. When leaving I was told at the reception that the deposit will be returned very soon. But it wasn't. Also I asked to print me a full receipt. Receptionist gave me a rolled paper saying it's a receipt. But later when I looked, it was only a hotel parking receipt. bed was small. We asked for a double bed, got 2 singles set apart. Breakfast buffet was chaotic, but it wasn't even busy with customers: tables set but still dirty from previous customers, coffee and warm milk ran out and not replenished, juice machine was leaking and one child slid and fell over on the puddle that was forming on the floor, etc. Staff was unable to provide information on local buses and sightseeing. Very expensive for the conditions and the service it provides.
