This hotel was very nice, cosy and more like home than most airport hotels we have stayed in. I liked that there was walking paths. It was also nice to be able to open up the windows and let the fresh breeze blow in (it was 30 degrees that day). Our room was very very clean, a bit small but nice. The bar had nice entertainment. The breakfast was superb with many offerings. We will return. Hotel is excellent at all, but a bit to much, if you only need a bed for 5 hours.

The hotel felt like a big storage room. The Hall was tasteless decorated.It's called the "Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport" but it's at least 5 km away(certainly not reachable by foot). A lot of hidden costs everywhere: ifyou want a double bed instead of twin beds it's an extra 200 nok, if youcheck out with a delay it's an extra 100 nok, if you order the (notunpricey) room service it's an extra 90 nok, the shuttle from and to theairport is 240 nok for two people/return. noisy building work, poor food, nonexistant water park. Water world is closing at 8 pm, which is highly inconvenient given the absence of any recreation facilities around; the personnel at the reception was highly unfriendly, requiring to pay for the romm at check-in; shuttle bus from the airport is 50 NOK one-way (quite expensive, given that transfer to Oslo - 50 km distance starts at 78 NOK).

Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport is one of the country's largest and leading conference hotels. Total 33 meeting rooms with a capacity of 2000 persons and large area for exhibitions. We are recognized for our friendly and competent staff, who will do their best to make your stay memorable. The hotel has a Water World of 1700m2 free of charge for over- night guests with a training pool, children's pool, therapy pool, Jacuzzi and water slide. Our restaurant Raumariket can seat up to 500. Our comfortable lounges have 250 seats and comprise a bar, fireplace and piano.
