The location was very central near our office in the Vero complex and adjoin a large number of restaurants and pubs, only 450 m from Queen Street,The building is a secured complex with 24 hour presence by management.We had a nice fully furnished apartment on level 17 with good veranda and views over the city and the water front area. The apartment was clean,well looked after with internet & telephone service as well as desk area for work.The kitchen was good and we have utlized the internal laun. all reviews »
Myself & two girl friend share a 2 bedroom serviced apartment in Waldorf Tetra Budget Apartment in Auckland.The location was very central near AUT and shopping area in Queen Street. Modern ,secured complex with clean, fully furnished serviced apartments accommodation. The weekly rate was very good compared to the rate other friends from our group paid and we have a every nice and safe time in Waldorf Tetra apartments. We will recommend this accommodation to our friends.
The apartment was great, clean had everything we required. Shower door was a bit dodgey but we managed! Was really close to Queen Street and the Civic, where we were going. Excellent value for money!.
The lady on reception when we arrived was excellent. She was polite and friendly and took extra time to show us where to park and made us feel very welcome. She is an asset to your business. Thanks.

Location. We have stayed for 3 nights in a spacious 1 bedroom 2 bathroom serviced apartment in Waldorf Tetra Budget Serviced Apartments. The aoartment was spotless and very looked after with full linen and towels supply. Very good and reasoably priced internet service and free local calls. The apartment was secured and had good kitchen and there was a communal alundry in the complex basement. good on site management with polite reception service. very very good value for budget but clean, modern serviced. We stayed in Tetra Budget apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment was spacious, clean ,quite and serviced once a week ( including linen and towel change). The building was secured and the caretkers quite helpful.We had internet service and SKY TV channels and there is a communal laundry in the basement. The rate was very good and good value. Very central location within 200-600 m from univesity, food restaurants and Quuen Street retail and fun areas. We as a family of 4 stayed in Tetra budget apartments for 12 nights sharing a spacious,fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment on the tenth level.The location was great, near everywhere in Auckland City and only 850 m from the railway station.Very clean, secured and modern serviced apartment at very good rate for family stay. Not a good look after raving to my wife how good you guys are. Obviously
hadn't been cleaned. Nice Chinese guy apologised which was nice and
offered to ring us as soon as it was cleaned and would get the
'boys' to take our bags up to our room as an apology. None of
which was done unfortunately. Still a nice guy though!.

The guy in the next unit came in and out about 1 times between 9pm and
midnight talking very oud to his friends and letting the door bang
which resonated right through our appartment keeping us awake. I
mentioned that because of this I wouldn't rebook for December and
the receptionist said she would make sure it didn't happen next
time--How??.
It was a bit far from the main CBD, we had to take a taxi to get to the viaduct, but the price of the apartment made up for that.
No free wifi. Car park is across the road at another building and have
to walk around street to get to apartment from there. Cheaper to pay for
public carpark down the road on weekend. Due to price paid for parking
ontop of room will not recommend as value for money.
Smell in kitchen of old food, kitchen was nice n clean, just didnt smell like it was. No room for suitcases for 4 people.

Laundry charges are way too expensive for a service apartment. Waldorf St Martin down the road provides laundry service for only 1.50 per wash and also 1.50 for 40 mins dryer. Short term guest should be provided with Laundry powder for free instead of needing to buy for 2 dollars.

No flannels provided, no soap in the dispenser, 4 tea bags and 4 coffee sachets which was all that was supplied for our entire two night stay.Additional charge to pay by credit card. Dry towels were not provided for second day, especially as there was no facility i.e heat towel rail to dry them. I have had better deals at slightly cheaper apartments in Auckland and as a result I would not be recommending Waldorf Tetra as a place to stay and I wouldn't book here again.
General service let stay down, 2 bedroom apartment not ready on time ( had to wait to 4.30 before we could occupy). Extra bed not provided as requested at booking. Also 2 single beds requested but were given a double. No bath towels, no tea towels.
