– The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished (we asked for one on the top floor, as it was our honeymoon, which we got - room 505 is on a corner and has views over the pool and out to sea, with a living and a bedroom and a huge balcony - I would recommend it) – the staff speak english and are friendly and helpful – free wifi throughout the hotel plus 2 computers in reception – there is a nice small, heated pool and spa as well as a paddling pool and sun lounges – the.

Only a 15-20 minute walk to Baie des Citrons which is better for swimming, and a bus stop 2 minutes walk away to take you to the city centre. The room was comfortable, had everything I needed and the staff were very friendly and patient with my stumbling French. The outdoor spa was perfect on winter afternoons. By New Caledonian standards, this was good value for money: we had a bedroom plus lounge area for what many hotels charge for a single room. Friendly and helpful staff with good English, good breakfast, good decor (loved the aquarium). The room was extremely clean, spacious and equipped with every necessary appliance. The staff were always willing to help out whether it be organising taxis, organising activities or simply making your stay as care free as possible. I only speak English yet staff were very helpful. hotel is very well maintained. I have stayed twice know and in fact am booking again next week it fulfilled all that I expect in a hotel. Good location Good/helpful staff. – though helpful, the staff didn't always know the current tourist information and prices - best to go to the tourist office – 'kitchenette' consists of a kettle, microwave, sink, plates and cutlery, and a fridge so can only eat microwave or cold dinners in the room (bring your own sharp knife) – they do offer breakfast buffet but at an additional, quite expensive rate. Pool is too small to swim in really, and two cockroaches popped up in my otherwise very clean room - they were dealt with promptly by the great staff though. The hotel could have more tourist information for visitors to use, rather than trekking over to the Tourist Information Office. View from bedroom into bathroom/toilet cannot be closed off completely with an odd window through ftom one to the other. There are venetians but they are punched metal see-through; a warning for those sharing a room but not a bed!. Generally very quiet, but my room was overlooking the spa pool, and it was noisy at times. I had to keep the balcony door closed while the hotel guests were using the spa pool. The pool was closed on the last day and the following morning. We had two different rooms, one was on the first floor and traffic noise was bad with balcony door open. Third floor was better. Difficulty in parking securely. Falling coconut from tree in hotel grounds broke car windscreen! No ironing facility. No restaurant services beyond breakfast. No bar services. Lack of what to do tourist information. Hate the window between the bath and bedroom. Why not opaque film it?. Internet was slow sometimes. Mattresses sagged in the middle, lacked support. No personal tissues provided. the sea view could only be seen from the balcony which was too noisy from the traffic to enjoy it. Constant smell of smoke from smokers on other balconies. No bar.
