location, room comfort and condition. Good Breakfast and Great Coffee. the tidyness of the hotel. the couple running the hotel were so sweet and made a great breakfast! they also let us sit in their balcony and helped with the bags. the staff greatly contributed to our stay!. Lovely family run hotel. Simple but great.Convenient location. Really nice and helpful staff. The room was clean with great facilities and lots of privacy. Really close to the tram lines, and not hard to get to from central station. The location of the Staten hotel was wonderful, right in the middle of a famous shopping street, and the room was very clean and cozy. Good location. Good public transport connection with city centre. Quiet. Very kind staff. Excellent breakfast. The staff was very nice and dedicated. The breakfeast buffet was simple but really good. My room was not excellent (small, without hairdrier or fridge, without toilets which were just outside the room - but I had no choice it was the last free room I could book) but it was really clean and the bed was really comfortable. It was a good compromise for the price (54 euros). It is in a nice area for restaurants and shopping.Very friendoy staff. Tasteful, good budget option. Non-smoking hotel. Good breakfast. They make me feel at home. The Staten Hotel provided very reasonable, clean accommodation in Amsterdam. It is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a luxury hotel but neither does it portray itself that way. The simple breakfast and the conversation over breakfast with other guests was a highlight of our stay.Solidly good, small, clean and friendly hotel. Recommended. Staff appearance and attitude.good location. Drinking water in corridor. Small and friendly hotel.Good value for money. Rooms are very small but clean. Good location. Proximity to the congress centre and restaurants.best room price for the hague. Nothing special, maybe the dog of the owner...never again. One of theworst experience I ever met in this class of hotels over the Europe. The floors are a bit squeaky, no biggie to me. And yeah, there's no elevator, but the other complaints about the stairs are off base in my opinion. They have average European stairs, they're not small by EU standards (all EU stairs are small by say US standards though, but that's not a reflection of this hotel in particular). the stairs!. The double bed consisted of two singles that had a tendency to separate. Otherwise, fine. There are a lot of very steep stair cases, which may not be a plus for some people. We stayed with a 6 year old, and she had no problems with the stairs. The stairs to reach the reception and the rooms are narrow and not practical to use with several bags. The stairs are a bit difficult for older tenants. A bit further from the action than I had realized. While this was not a problem for me personally, I think that potential bookers need to be adequately warned about the very steep stairs and that they will be expected to bring their own bags up to their rooms. This is not a hotel for the elderly or frail. This may be mentioned on the web site but I can't recall.A room on the top floor under the roof was very noisy just because of rain. the problem is that your hear each step in the hotel in your room...The lady was reluctant to accept coins in payment. The heating in the room was not functioning well. It felt really cold inside the room.you get what you pay for - a room that reminded me of a cramped student room. Mixed furniture and lack of space in the room.
