A very relaxing stay at this hotel, staff were excellent and very helpful in every way. When we come back to Holland it will be a pleasure to stay at this hotel again. Nice little presents for our kids -- made us feel welcome. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, very fresh. We switched rooms cause of the smell in the first room. So i like the service of switching rooms in the hotel.There was no refrigerator in the room. breakfast (not included) rather pricey (€16.5 pp). To avoid the 15 Euro daily parking fee we parked at P+R parking and took the City Bus (for 2 Euro) which stops just in front of the hotel. This works great but when we arrived at the hotel it turned out that in the weekend parking is for free (just beside the hotel). paying for internet access is a bit outdated. I had originally made a reservation for 2 nights. Later, I called and added a third night to the reservation and received a confirmation number. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the reservation was only for two nights, leaving me scrambling to find a place to stay for the third night. sometimes the sound of the ambulances.Someone had been smoking in one of the elevators. There was no coffee avaiable during breakfast-time, however the price for the whole breakfast has been cancelled.right next to hospital, so occasional emergency vehicle sirens. no minibar. It is in Groningen ;-( [the hotel cannot help that]. Apart from that the hotel has very little that makes it special in any way, it is rather standard.
