This place was perfect for spending the night before departure. I arrived early on the day before I was leaving The Netherlands and while I understandably couldn't get into my room before noon, the staff stored my bags so I could go explore Amsterdam. They have a very convenient shuttle bus to Schiphol so catching a train into the city is a snap. Rooms are immaculate, albeit sparse...which is fine for a simple overnight stay.

Better than most Amsterdam hotel rooms at twice the price, and 20 minutes from Museumplein / Amsterdam trams by nearby public bus, or by hotel shuttle to Schiphol and train to Centraal Station. An inexpensive, reliable quality way to visit Amsterdam and remain very close to Schiphol for early morning /late evening travel. The hotel provide frequent shuttle bus from and to Schiphol airport. However, it can be very busy and full in the morning when many guests going to the airport. Bus 97 from airport to the city centre also pass near the hotel (5 minutes walk), this is convenient. Or you can take the city bus right up to the airport and take the shuttle bus from airport to the hotel. Clean room and bed. Its a cheap clean & simple location, accomodation is basic, but very clean, you get a small room, en suite and a TV. The free shuttle bus from the airport is a good addition too, If you're on a budget and don't mind having to bus or train it into Amsterdam City Centre, then this is a wonderful alternative to the cheap flea infested shoeboxes that Amsterdam has so many of. The location is good..there is a free shuttle that get you to the hotel from the airoport (it takes 8 minutes). The design of the rooms is awesome...its bright and very nice. We didnt need breakfast...but i think its nice coz when we went downstaires there was a nice smell of bakery...mmm:) And of course we like the price:). This was a nice, cheap hotel just for a night while in transit. Good location near the airport, free shuttle, enought room. Breakfast was good. Wifi was fast. I will suggest to book a room in the hotel if you have an overnight transit flight. The room has everything you need for a comfort rest: nice bed, warm shower, international tv, AC, heater. Actually I cannot say much about ibis budget hotel, because when we arrived in the hotel, we were said that there are no free rooms and were asked to move to ibis hotel (higher standard), which is just next to it. It was a nice surprise to be sent for the same money to the better hotel. It's called "budget" so it's super basic - a surprisingly comfortable bed, a towel and a tiny bar of soap is all you get but the room is clean and not too small. Perfect to crash overnight between flights if you want to save a dime and care only about getting back home. Great place to stay overnight if youʻre catching the plane or the train the next day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and exceeded our expectations by far: despite our early start on the day of departure (6am flight) we slept very well and were fully rested. We had an 8 hour layover in ams, This hotel is nice, inexpensive and only 5 minutes to the airport. It's perfect for a layover. The manager Freek was very nice. They also offered discounted tickets to museums. Room is ok with everythings needed. Breakfast was ok but very basic - would have like a bit more choice. seemed a bit pricey, but its even worse in the amsterdam central. The Ibis was a bit hard to find and I had to immerse myself in the chaos of the larger Ibis hotel to find where the budget Ibis was located. the parking fee is expensive. there should have been a special rate for hotel guests. The heavy rain at the time of the visit but that was out of the control of the hotel. The bed wasn't comfortable. The fact that there was just a shower in the room and no toilet was surprising and disappointing. Needed a bath mat as the water sometimes came out of the hole that is the door opener to the shower. No complaints. They asked me to sign a document saying that I wouldn't smoke in the room even though the toilet in the room already smelled like an ash tray. Breakfast was not good value for &.50 euros.. No milk for drinks or cereal. No yoghurt available. Waited 20 mins for an egg. Very limited fruit, oranges only. Wait staff were abrupt. No shampoo or a hairdryer. Make sure that you bring one. If you received a room without A/C and the weather was hot, the location had a problem with mosquitos. Far from Asterdam Centraal, but it's ok. The air conditioner did not work. So, I had to sleep with a open window. Shuttle bus service- isn't on time. Shuttle bus gets very crowded at peak times in the morning and afternoon/evening. why soap and shampoo should be a problem?. Soap but no shampoo. Tv or remote didn't work. No phone in the room so requests need to be made face to face with hotel staff. It's a perfect lay-over hotel.
