What people say
Great hotel for the money! Tram line was rite outside and 10 mins max tothe centre! The staff were helpfull! The room was modern and much biggerthan it looks in the photos! It feels really safe with the securityguards always around. Compared to the 2 star hotels closer into town Iwould happily pay twich the ammount to still stay at this hotel! Havealready reccomended it to friends!. Good rates. Clean room and comfy bed. Very close to the Amsterdam Zuid station if you arrive by train which we did. Nice and helpful staff.all reviews »
Easy to book in, staff helpful, room clean and comfortable. good staff and close to public transport. close to the adresses where I had to be. I really liked the look of the room, with the special lighting and thesetup. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like a baby comparedto the 3 other hotels which we stayed in that week, of which the roomswere a lot smaller compared to this spacious one. It's also a small tripby tram directly from museum square and it's close to the airport withthe train station in front of the door.qbic hotel is a spice place, time seems not to go on when you are inside.. the design is very particular with these lights and colours...the bed is very big and confortable...i suggest to go, if you want to try something unusual... The design of the hotel/rooms are great. There is one staff available but very helpful with wathever information is necessary. I would recommend this hotel for everyone, has a perfect location with the best tram line to go to the city center (number 5), the train is only 7 minutes to the Shiphol airport. The area around is just beautiful.the hotel was great and in a very good location for everything the room itself was very comfortable (when we had eventually figured out how to stop the lights from changing!) The staff were very friendly and helpful and i would not hesitate to stop there again. The location was convenient, the facilities were comfortable, clean and modern. I especially liked the fact that there was free WIFI throughout the hotel. The room lighting was great, beds very comfortable and always staffclose by or on the phones to assist with any issues. Ease of checkin and checkout, which was very quick. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was nice. This is a great place to stay, very nice rooms in my opinion (modern styling). the novelty of the concept. Design, space. I felt safe in the middle of an office block, several security doors etc. extremely close to tram station - you get the number 5 tram into the centre or 'centrum' - get off at Leindsplein, also burger king right next door!. Clean, interesting concept, easy to get into city center despite being located in business center. the concept of the hotel and the facility to go dowtown with the tram. Cool, modern and extremely spacious rooms. The experience was unique and comfortable. the hotel was modern and different. Very strange design, so it was fun. Convienent and not too costly. the rooms. Excellent hip hotel. Very different from every other hotel I have stayed at. The design of the rooms, the bed, the divan and so forth. The train and the tram stations are at 2 min walking.design, friendly staff, good connection to the city. convenient, quiet, relaxed, fun design. Everythings works. 1. The room looked very cool, and was - in general - very comfortable. 2. Again, the staff - Gi (I'm not sure how to spell her name, but it sounds like "gee") was amazingly nice and very helpful. 3. The location in Amsterdam - it was very easy to get to the downtown area for museums, shopping, etc - and very easy to get to and from the airport. The design concept of the room. The bathroom has no door wich might be a problem. The bed was very confortable. the place is very central especially to the Schiphol Airport, 5 minutes drive by train. Personell very nice. Good location. The rooms are well funky, beds are great - sooo comfortable. Great shower but only problem was the bathroom! You should advertise the fact that there is no door on the bathroom, so when using the toilet, anyone in your room can hear everything. No privacy - fine if you are single but I was with my girlfriend and this caaused some embarassment. All in all, a great little hotel. different style, but was good. the design. The decoration and it's concept. There's a small table and a nice divanin the room. Good sized bed.the location is perfect as a transit hotel. close to the airport and easy accessible to the city even though took you 20 minutes. The person on the front desk was very friendly and helpfull. The novelty of the design makes up for a lot of short-comings. Price and proximity to the airport. It's a cool design and a trendy concept. The self check in is quite convinient. None! I new what to expect from the previous feedback! With a bit ofcommon sense there was plenty of places to 'dry a towel and put thesoap' the door to the bathroom wasnt really an issue either ; ) Theone thing I would say is it was quite hard to figure out the tramtickets, places to visit etc while your there so do your researchbefore leaving!!. Missing door to the bathroom! A bit too far out from the city centre. Just some small things, like somewhere to hang the towel to dry andsomething to put soap on in the shower.Everything you would like to eat is self service (great idea), but is too expensive. You have to pay even for the hot water...The natural water cost €2,00 a very small bottle. The hotel is very modern but only the toilet was not well designed, there is no space to hang the towels, there is no way to close the door of the shower so after you took a shower... is like a "flood". No cup provided in the room to take a drink of water, and no way of switching the lights off overnight except removing the key card from the electricity point by the door, which then also switched off the TV and power supply to the laptop. Quite frustrating. If you want 4-star service this is not for you. You check in yourself on a computer, and there's not much more for service. But they do offer all the amenities you'd want - food, drinks, etc. all are provided in a very high tech automated manner. I very much liked the organization of the hotel. The limited automat facility - particularly as the it was out of order during my second evening. Some wear problems in room. The toilet paper really was awful, but its such good value for money you don't mind!. No door at the bathroom!!. The access to the hotel was complicated and confusing, having to ringbells to gain access to the trade center as it was closed on the friday.Did not like the fact of no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Vending machines available in the lobby very expensive. The room had bad lighting. no full length mirror the bathroom was especially dark. But my room was very cold with no chance or method to change it, whichmeans I wrapped up in bed to keep warm. Only negative was that the cleanliness of the room could have been better. As other users said, there's no door in the bathroom. I was travelling alone, so this wasn't important for me, but I can understand that if a couple spend some days in this hotel, this issue can be concerning.no windows, no natural light, rooms are bit dim, no door to the bathroom/toilet so no privacy for people sharing a room - like a couple. designed more for men - see comment under 1.Room temperature very low; even after the staff increase the heat. 1. No windows and no individual air controls in the room. After a shower the room gets very warm and humid, and there's no way to get rid of that. 2. The location inside the wtc - having to get the guards to let you through every door all weekend gets old, especially when you have to use a downstair door then work a baby stroller up stairs or escalators. 3. No shelves or drawers in the room. The room had no windows. there happens to be no windows (maybe as part of the concept) and that makes it hard to wake up in the morning, and the question of fresh air.the access during week end. The room was smelly. see above. smaller room. There's no place to hang the towels. No shelves for the clothes. Nodrain at the shower. No heating. And a metal plate over the bed thatmakes a huge noise when you hit it while you sleep. 1) very difficult to find this hotel, which is included in WTC, so you should explain it - 2) very noisy. A litle noisy in the middle of the night. A little more privacy at the bathroom entrance. there is no door for the bathroom and the room is extremely cold (the first day i almost can't sleep). I ask them to decrease the room temperature but it is still cold because they don't have the room temperature per room but it was centralized per 6 room. it is getting slightly better after the second day. There was no telephone, W/Lan was not working and above all there was no door in the bathroom. Too far out, exterior doors lock at 8pm, price is too steep for what it is.All the rest. On the glass ceilings of our quibic (above the shower) you could see dirt and some unidentified objects apperantly left by other gusts - that were not cleaned. There is no possibility to open the window to let in any fresh air. And there was no switch to regulate the air conditioning. When we were late checking-out, hotel management came to rush us out in quite unpleasent manner.. :(.
