Clean, modern, good breakfast, good location, wireless internet inroom for free. Paid for a double even though I was a single travelleras price difference wasnt much but after reading other reviews I didnot want a room in the basement. Room and bathroom were nice, smallishbut i've had much smaller in Amsterdam for the same money so I waspleased enough.all reviews »
We paid extra for room overlooking street and canal. We ate our breakfast in front of this window each morning...very nice. We thought it was a very good location. It is a really nice hotel, perfect location, rooms are not too spacious but nice and cosy, good tv, very nice bathroom with tub, very clean. Breakfast ok.very clean, gay sauna is never. This hotel is in good place very close of the city center, for my this is excelent because is possible walk and know very much issus.Good location - everything in walking distance. Polite and helpfulstaff. Tasty breakfast. Handy to everything.Superb location. Room was small with fairly basic furnishings but very clean. Good breakfast, friendly staff, good quality bathroom with plenty of hot water. Great location, 1 street from "Restaurant Alley", 3 streets from Leidseplein Square, walking distance from museums. the receptionist when we first arrived was very helpful and gave us good directions to places to go nearby. It provided easy access to our Boooking.com offices in Amsterdam and the staff were very helpful. The room was nice. Not too small at all. Nice that there was a bathtube! Wonderful chanelwiew. very comfortable beds and quality bedding. very lovely location. relaxed, quiet, though in the centre of the town. convinient for my work. location, nice staff. staff attitude. We stayed in room 301 which overlooks the canal and was very pleasant but I'm not sure all the rooms have a canal view, so a bit of a lottery. The location is on a nice, quiet street but it is only a few minutes walk from loads of places to eat and drink. The receptian staff was very good. Internet connection fast and good for free.helpful staff; clean beds and bathroom; good quality for the price. Nice breakfast, but the bread could have been better.hotel is in the center and everithing is in the there. The nearness to the city centre, the breakfast. Clean rooms, good location, great shower. i liked the shower. location. Location, Location, Location. Quality of Staff. Cleanliness.good selection for breakfast / room cleaned each day. Central location, close to Leidseplein and museums.central location, good price. Fantastic location. The location. Location of the hotel is good. Also breakfast was quite ok. If all youneed is bed to sleep over night and do not care much about space - thehotel is ok.It's location is very convenient and I liked that it was right on a canal. It is a pity that they don't have some tables and chairs outside. Good location,in the middle of everywhere, good breakfast,. location - clean. Location. within easy reach of all attractions, friendly staff, reasonable price. The location was central. the good position near the centre. The location is just perfect.position neea to center. The hotel is fairly central and easily reachable on foot from the Centraal Station. 1 friendly guy who worked on reception. No tea pot in the room. a little bit far from the centre. Staff were not unfriendly, but not exactly friendly either. Seems prettystandard in European budget hotels, they dont get paid much, so as longas they are not unfriendly i'm not really that bothered.Smoking was allowed in reception and eating area. The Double beds are twin beds pushed together; rooms are really warm. Very unhappy about night after (late) night of having the hotel alarmsystem going off. Smokey in foyer.some of the breakfast food was off (i.e. fruit salad), cheese was dry, no toaster, yogurt wasnt cold enough....the tables were not cleared properly when plates were finished with.. The breakfust was ok, but we have tasted better...the cleaning staff were quite rude and were pushy. room size too small. small rooms (but it is the city). poor noise isolation. they should have tea or coffe in the room, because to far to go to coffee shop. I had a problem if you did not want to spend time in your room you had nowhere to go or sit for a while. one of housekeeping staff not very freindly, always try to come inside without knocking the door. on my check out day she already came and clean the room while I am still inside, it was earlier than the time since it said check out time is 11 am. she make me feel not comfortable, and i have to pack my bag in rush.noisy; easily hearing other room's showers and waterpipes; other parts of the room not very clean. The wlan worked lousy. I chose the hotel because of the free wlanInternet access. But it did only work about 45 minutes and then stoppedworking. I had then go and tell the reception to restart there WLAnrouters. And then it worked for 45 minutes and so on.......Last day Iasked for compensation for this but I did not get any. .-(. i don;t like this :tv remov control is on the reception and you must give 10e deposit to have it during your staing in hotel. Tiny space generally, though the bathroom was big.i did not like we had to get out from our rooms at 11 a clock!. The room was so small I had to laugh. about 2m by 4m.room "compact" and the walls are very thin (need more soundproofing) - very aware of neighbouring guests. Absolutely no view, but who could expcet that for that price ?. Very small room. Twin rooms are actually not exactly twin. Two beds pushed together withnot much possibilities to separate them - we somehow rearranged roomsourselves, but rooms for so called twin rooms are way to small -accordingly price for so small rooms is too high. While the room and bathroom were clean, and the linnen spotless, the walls could really do with a lick of paint. However, at least the squashed mozzies alerted me to the fact that I need to use a repellant. Not so clean, comfortable and large rooms. noise - staff not very helpful - breakfast disappointing. The hotell was not very nice, but clean and ok. Location was very good. When i arrived they had no record of my booking even though my wife made a payment over the phone to them the day before and i had they confirmed they had me booked in to her, . I then had to pay again as they said no payment was made and had no recollection of speaking with my wife, alfter a long wait i was sent to another hotel a long way from theres and put in a very small poky room !. rooms were extremely small, very noisey at night, limited breakfast, no milk on one morning meant no cereal or tea/coffee. Very basic for 258 euros for 2 nights. One night was 70 euros new years eve was 188 euros. I do not think the hotel was good value for 70 euros let alone 188 ! Paid extra to check out late and were woken up before check out time twice by staff telling us to heck out/clean room!!!. I reserved on the web site a romantic canal view doble room for two nights, but unfortunally, the first nignt we slept in the down floor because no disponibility for romantic canal view room...but I paid for this kind of room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The rooms are the smallest I have ever seen in my whole life. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Although the bed and the bathromm were clean you still feel as a prisoner and I think that even prisoner have more space... The stuff and the breakfast are OK. the room to small- problem with parking. The room was very small, very cold, not too clean (stains on the bedside table) and poorly furnished. 1 girl on reception who needs a PR course.
