The Corner House Hotel is perfect for exploring the wonderful city of Amsterdam. Round the corner from Dam Square and with a Tram stop right on the doorstep, the Corner House hotel offers all you possibly need for a wonderful stay. Further to this the hotel is walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal train station.
The rooms were clean and bright, with all mod cons, and although this hotel is under refurbishment, it certainly did not feel that way as there was no disturbance of any kind.

One of the best locations being close to Central Station, Dam Square is 2 minute walk, all kinds of shops, restaurants, Anne Frank house and grocery store nearby. In room showers are very nice, Mark who manages the hotel is very nice, helpful and polite. Jasmine who is works in the wait staff is very nice, friendly and also well informed about the area. Would stay here again.
The location is completely amazing - ten minute walk from central station and almost all touristic highlights in the walking distance. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Even though we were living right above the bar, it was suprisingly quiet. There is also a possibility to leave the luggage for safe-keeping.
Ofcourse the location couldnt have been better. Being right nest to Dam Square was fantastic.
We loved people of Netherlands and your staff, in perticular Marek and Marta really made our stay memorable. They helped from day one when we had to carry our luggage to the room. They both are excellent.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. Marck let me store my luggage after I checked out since the train station storage was expensive. A bar and restaurant was located on the ground floor if that interests you and I heard no noise on the 4th floor. Very quiet hotel.
Good localization. Very near Dam Plaza and not very far away from the Central Station. There is a bar on the ground floor but I could not hear any noise from my room. Nice staff.

It is located in front of the tram stop, where I got a few minutes from Amsterdam Central Station(the entrance of the hotel is same as the one of the cafe). The bed was kept clean.

There was building work going on in the hotel and they were drilling at 7am both mornings of our stay, and we only found out they were having building work done as there was a poster on the wall saying sorry. Also as they were 2 single beds we pushed them together and found a used condom underneath the bed which was disgusting!.

It is a little bit expensive though it is in centre of Amsterdam and I stayed weekend. The building was dirty and so old that I didn't open the door of the room easily.
- We got a old and small room for two of us, with an equally old and small shared toilet & shower. For the price we paid, not really worth it; I think we stayed in an older part of the building - Walls of room were peeling and cracking, not really well-maintained - Not enough staff to run the hotel as they also run a bar downstairs (entrance of hotel through the pub).
The hotel states that you will have a flat screen tv, shower &
toilet however it is a communal shower and toilet (1 for every floor)
which isn't the worst. However I feel I could of got a hostel a bit
cheaper and had the same facilities.

I didn't like the attention received by the staff and the stairs, they're very steep and there is no elevator if you have luggage.

Maybe not all the rooms are the same, but our's was on the top floor, and it was not a true hotel room: tight, low, no toilet and no shower in it. Anyway a total renewal would be worth.
I was searching for this hotel a lot even if this was in front of me...The reason?? The entrance of this hotel is inside a cafeteria!!!! So, guys the cafeteria you will see there is your hotel....

Noisy bar instead of reception on the 1st floor. No elevator, old interior, toilet and bathroom separated from the room, which is unacceptable for us. No wi-fi in the room, and a breakfast was very poor. Personnaly I wouldn't recomend this hotel to anyone.
