Starting at 1977 the hotel has been expanding its buildings one at a time and connecting them together, hence the maze of corridors to each room and not one room being the same as the other. Some rooms overlook the characteristic canals, lift-up bridges and passing boats. The private bathroom comes with complimentary toiletries. A flat-screen TV is available. French Brasserie FLO serves quality meals and is open for dinner daily. Lunch can be enjoyed from Monday to Friday. Drinks and light snacks are available at the hotel's Bar 36 Black. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with all aspects of my stay. The location was terrific. I was most impressed with the cleanliness and impeccable condition of the entire hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Also the position of the hotel meant that you were centered in the city but it was in a quiet spot. Great for getting a good nights sleep after spending the day exploring.
all reviews » From the moment I walked into the Hotel the staff was welcoming and polite! The beds were very comfortable and the local couldn't have been better. Very happy with my over all stay in Amsterdam:). we were a stag party of 12 from the check in girl to the check out girl all the staff were friendly and helpful we were 2 mins from rembrandt sq and easy walking distance to anywhere else. It was a rare delight to check in and out of a hotel that we had booked so efficientl, very helpfull staff room very good for a 3 star but no view cleanliness excellent very very good. The Eden is much better than expected and better than it looks online. The service and facilities are a star or two higher than the price would indicate.The locaion was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice, in particular the beds were very comfortable. Have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions. I like its location and comfort of rooms and helpfulness of staff. Room service would have been nice for snacks throughout the day, and also a minibar would have been a good addition to the room.Not enough tea and coffee supplies in the room!
