We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The city itself wasn't too special but the Riad was lovely and if it hadn't been cloudy we would have used the pool. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable and cool. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody. Lovely staff, always very friendly and helpful. The riad looks wonderful, it is beautifully decorated and has many places to relax, for example on the roof terrace. They can also cook you a very nice dinner at a reasonable price (16 euros pp). The hammam is also a good experience and very relaxing. This riad is really good value!. Riad Tafilag feels like a small, quiet paradise in the middle of the lively, chaotic centre of Taroudant. The staff is incredibly nice, guests are welcomed with fresh mint tea and Moroccan sweets and the hotel itself, a traditional riad, is extremely beautiful. We just stayed one night - no problems at all. A bit away from the center of the medina, little hard to find, however that's just a minor downside of very nice riad in Taroudannt!. there was no bath neither tv in our room what said to be there on the internet. The swimmingpool has the size of a big bath,looks muchbigger on foto.
