I liked the great privacy. The good safe atmosphere for women travelling solo The kindness of most of the staff I had lunch and dinner almost every day in the city or with old friends in Marrakech and never ever the hotel staff asked or forced me to use the meals in the hotel restaurant. Therefore I felt free to do what I liked best. I appreciate that highly. It is a great hotel with allure for a great price. One little point of irritation: for nine days I had no light above the door of my hotelroom. So it was very dark and could almost not use my key to open the door I could have report this of course but I think it is necessary for the household staff to check this each time again themselves before new guests arrive. Front desk staff were quite rude. Wouldn't let me bring bottled water into my room; they should have stated this when I checked in. Not a big deal, all in all. The hotel has been let to run down. No money is being put back into the hotel at the expense of the customer. The rooms are in need of refurbishment. The TV is really old, no English channels and no tea or coffee in the rooms. Do not book any excursions with lIbre (which is booked through the hotel). Very badly organised and it seems every stop is done purely because of some benefit to the compnay rather than the customer. . wider Wi Fi cover. Few facilities open during the day - and they close early in the evening. The bar has stopped selling alcohol. The bar couldn't let us have wine. They have not got their licence renewed - apparently this will be done soon. needs renovation but this is likely to add to the price. Apparently this hotel used to be the top, but because the original owner passed away and the sons have been fighting over it for years, it hasn't been maintained well. There was a piece of broken glass laying on the night table. The bath has lost it's smooth layer making it rather painful to use, little things like that you find in may other hotels in morocco too, WiFi doesn't work in the room. Basic breakfast table.. The room was so outdated, the corridors to come to the room, the painting, in general the maintenance was very poor, except in the garden. The breakfast was very simple (but expectable for such price). unfortunately the prices in this hotel have been gradually increased up to >5 euro/night. so it is no longer value for money as it was. Internet connection only at the reception. its not by any means a 4* hotel. The lights in the restaurant...like in a ospital! Really cold and uncomfortable!! In some rooms the long tube pillow is totally uncomfortable. Its a cheap hotel and it shows. It need a major renovation. Breakfast should be better even for the Price. Elevator not working Climatisation on room not working Pool stops at 7pm. Bad Breakfast . Internet barely working , Not a place to recommend. The staff was not helpful and often rude. The food was cheap. The room was dirty and the furnishings very old. There was no hot water and they switched off the airconditioning!.
